Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: Publish 6 and Broken BH Missions Info Requested.
Not holding my breath (about it getting fixed) - I'm sure Tanks HAS reported it, since they refuse to visit our forums, but I seriously doubt they give a sh!t anyway - obviously something this last patch seriously focked up the spawn code, and the fact that, a week later, it hasn't even been acknowledged, let alone fixed, speaks volumes.
Over the last four days I progressed through investigation 3 and 4, here is what I discovered.
Seeker droids will not function properly when using, "Find and Track Target". The waypoint does not update when in fact the mark is actually moving. If you use the "Find Bounty Target" the waypoint will actually update to the actual location of the target.
If the "Find Bounty Target"remains in the same location for more than oneseeker droid, the mission is more than likely buggedso just head backand get another mission.
What I found worked the best was upon landing on the marksplanet I would send out a seeker droid and wait for the location to update before moving anywhere. If the mark was heading towards a city, I would send out another seeker droid from the same location and wait until the mark reached the city and then I would shuttle over. 10 out of 10 times the mark was somewhere in the city close to themarker. If the mark was heading out into the wilderness,Ifound itwas much more likely to find the mark when there was no other creature activity in that area. If there were very many lairs and creatures it was a 20-30% chance it would actually have a spawn when I arrived.
Success Rate by planet (all mission were taken from Kadaara, Naboo):
Endor: 10%
Lok: 80%
Dathomir 50%
Naboo: 90%
Dantooine: 75%
Correllia: 90%
Rori: 75%
Talus: 60%
Tatooine 75%

Twice I've taken missions out of kadaara, and my target was located on endor. By the time i get to him, he's in the middle of a town and has disappeard. Sending out another seeker droid updates the position like 10m away, and he is still not there, just a wp to nothing..... This has happened to me twice.
Greyfox
Scylla
6 missions in a row taken out of Kaandra. I launched a droid and got back
2- Lok
3- Tat
1- rori
I was on a shuttle to each planet no less than 2 min after I got the planet location from my droid. Got there, launched a droid. got an updated wp each time, went to wp (3 of them were 5k away or less) nothing there. launched another droid and 5 out of the 6 times got a wp back that was within 20 m of my last wp with no mark to be found.
I know of 2 rangers that area track and it tells them the mark is there but it is not.
