It can still be an issue. You can always contact the jedi and make a deal after you identify him.

That's a "danger" existant with finished templates already.


Example: I don't care about PVP. My only PVP comes from BH's who try to take my exp from me. I'm not ever going to be interested in changing my template, even though it's far from uber, because it fits my character concept. What will I ever, ever, ever care about being 100+ million in the hole? So, it would make the most sense then, for me to tell the BH who comes after me "Hey, you can fight and potentially get nothing, or we can split it and you guarantee yourself 113k".

One of the biggest problems that shouldn't be, is the fact that when a player earns a jedi, it's no longer an exta character that's the jedi, it is the main. That's the reason why some of the jedi's concerns are legit. If they would've kept it the old way, where the main stayed the same and the alt was the jedi, then they would be subject to all the necessary penalties and regulations with no legitimate gripes about it.

Also one reason why permadeath won't be coming back. The second character is weirdly tied to the Jedi character, or specifically the FSCS part of the "main" character. So in permadeath, for anyone who unlocked post-9, not only the Jedi would be deleted, but the unlock character as well.

If bounties were like normal PvP, a lot more Jedi would play ball.Get rid of the exp loss. At least the Jedi doesn't lose anything, and we, the BHs, can still get the bounty without standing outside a house fortwo days.






Coming from a jedi, I have to admit that xp loss is not that serious of an issue anymore. I don't think changes are needed on the loss, but how about giving the Jedi a reason to stay and fight. Perhaps if a Jedi stays/fights and wins, he gets the xp awarded to him (the same amount of xp that he was going to lose).


I've been in some BH fights where the fight went on for about 50 mins. In the end, we just agreed that it could continue to go on and he just dropped the mission and went on his way. Even without him deathblowing me, he did cause the loss of about 250k of jedi xp, how? by wasting almost an hour of game time.


So, why not give jedi a reward for fighting, a little thank you for giving the BH some content. Some xp for our time entertaining our local BH!

You're right - there was no xp loss when BH missions first came out - there was permadeath.

Amazing how people forget all that.





permadeath was removed months before bh got jedi missions. get your facts straight

I say bring back the xp loss on cloning. Bring back saber tef to NON-GROUP members. Bring back group tefs (both ways). Bring back names on the terminals. Put player paid bounties on the mission terminal for ANY profession. Heaven knows they nerfed bh's enough. (I am an old school jedi and considered it an honor to be hunted or ganked) An easy game leads to NO CONTENT. BH's were my content as much as I was theirs. Why is Tanks so passive about swallowing the crap you guys get fed?

im only killing jedis because they loose xp... how ells can we gain our joy of killing a jedi? how ells can we get those h8 tells (i really do love them :-)) im serious, if jedi xp loss is dropped, im dropping bh and goung full cm template instead of the 4xxx i have

That's xp loss... just a different name. Losing a skill box means you spend xp to earn it back - but even that elicited whines form the Jedi.
