Both of these comments are in and of itself ridiculous. Take the first one for example. When I chose to be a jedi they could wear comp armor and take out groups of players with ease. By the time I got jedi, it was drastically different and by the time I became ful template it changed again. So there goes that arguement. With each change the power was decreased, and with that - the expecation of what a jedi was, changed. Also, in almost all cases there was too much time and effort spent to just "turn back."
As for the second and by far the most un-educated post. All the content in the game revolves around NPCs which give vis. When you say don't get on the terminals you are basically telling them to sit in their house and not do anything..... and we all know how much BHs love having jedi just sit in their houses right? You would be asking someone to just not play the game.
So for one of the last times, please really think about what you say before posting. There is alot more than being so cut and dry about these kind of issues.
I'm sorry, but these people your comp armor wearing Jedi could "take out with ease" must be fresh from Eisley.Jedi straight up sucked the big one pre7. It grew in VAST power after that publish.
To your second point, maybe you should have thought about that when you created your toon? I mean dear god, NOBODY is forcing you to do that!
So please, really think about what you're saying next time. The whole point was, you can grind your Jedi and play it, if you do, you will be hunted. You can grind your Jedi and never draw your saber, you won't be hunted. There you go, that's how it is, that's the system. Don't like it? Well, CMN and do something else.
You do know you made absolutly no point or sense. There are screen shots on my server of a jedi named Rome taking out groups of FULL TEMPLATED players. Sorry to dissapoint.
You cannot tell me that WHEN I decided to go jedi and the risk justified the power I would complain would you? Seriously, get over yourself, not everyone thinks like you. I am a vet just like you.
Point is, I accepted the fact of being hunted when I went jedi, but I also expected the power of jedi to remain. To lose that luster AND to take away the ability to help guildies and play the friggin game?... come on. Now there is no benefit to being a jedi in the NGE. In fact it is a tested WORST PvP class. A ranged player (even unarmored) can EASILY take out a jedi.
That is why BH missions were removed. Jedi are no longer special, so no need to hunt them. Period.
I agree with everything you say in this second part, except your claim that your pre7 Jedi wiped the slate. I see your server is Corbantis...well, I need not say anymore. Jedi has gotten weaker, they never did need to be hunted in the first place anyways. It never quelled the population like it was supposed to.I'm not arguing the fact that BH missions should have been removed, it is for the betterment of the game. What I'm arguing is Pussycat laying all the blame on the BH because they did somethign the game allowed them to do.
If you impose something on others who do not want it, it's wrong, no matter whether the rules/regulations/laws etc. allow you to get away with it... you may be able to get away with it for a while, but in the long run, chances are the situation will change.
