Thread: Milking
I was brave and milked a level 81 thing on Dathomir, 312 units of milk later I ran away just in case.
Oh and elite critters give a teeeny tiny bit more milk, but good luck finding an elite female herbivore.
Except when the game breaks.
Seriously try targeting everything and ~ up your full radial, sometimes you can milk really odd things
I get 50cpu so even 10k of milk nets me 500k credits. Please don't cut into my income.
One lair gives me about 4-6k milk. You do the math.

Amount of milk is proportinal to the combat level, I might get so bored I actually track stats on it some time but on average from a level 1 critter you will get between 1 and 8 units of milk.

This is absolutely true. The level of the critter is directly proportional to the milking yield.
For example, near my house on Naboo/Ahazi there are a lot of standard wild level 22 fambaa about. There are also mission lair fambaa (level 78-82) in the same general vacinity.
The mission lair fambaa consisistently have MUCH higher yields than the "natural" level 22 fambaa.
As for the "herbivore meat dropping females" rule, in general it's true, but only in general, there are tons of exceptions. Fambaa drop reptillian meat, and you can milk them. Same for cu pa on Tatooine. Gurrecks (carnivore droppers) yield milk on Endor. One thing that DOES seem to be true, pretty much across the board, is that specifically male critters (like bachelor gualamas and sharnaff bulls) do not yield milk while the non gender specificcounter parts (dappled gualamas and shanaffs) do.

I made 1.5 million credits this week milking. The only thing that sucks is no xp for milking. I milked level 80 swamp humbabas that I found by rivers on Corellia. The milk was really good pe and oq, and so a BE paid me 15 cpu for it. I think I could make more since no one wants to milk and it's in high demand, but I just started a couple weeks ago and when she enlisted my help, I had 30k credits to my name. So I'm quite proud of myself.
Anyway, I got between 150 and 350 units per humbaba. I wouldn't suggest trying veghash because it doesn't seem to increase the amount of units you gather. I'll just have to use it for something else.

My question is, while in a group can more then one person milk the same creature?
Nope.
Each creature can be milked ONCE, unless you move off say 250m from the creature then come back, then it's "reset" and becomes milkable again. And everyone in the group would need to do this, but while the group is near the creature, one milking session only.
