you do not want melee defense UNLESS you are using a melee weapon.

The way currently that the defensive system works is that it is tied to the weapon you have equiped... this goes for food... AAs and CAs....

So assuming you use a ranged weapon... you would want ranged defense... which will protect you against ranged attacks and melee attacks...

I know this does not make sense but believe me when I tell you it is true...

trapping 1 is a waste, your ability to trap will be limited to creatures aroun lvl 10... maybe level 30 if you eat some dweezel
