If your x-wing cloaked, wouldn't that be kinda StarTrekish?

ForceCloak is a legitimate skill and was used in Episode 3... can't get more Star Wars than something that was actually in the movies...

I assume it's cloak being used ...I don't see anyother explanation for it.

Obi-Wan has just landed his JSF on one of the landing platforms on Utapau. He speaks with Port Administrator Tion Medon who tips him off to the presence of General Grievous andan army of thousands of battle droids.

One of Grievous' NK-3 Bodyguards is watching attentively as Kenobi's starfighter is refueled. Kenobi climbs into the cockpit of his fighter and instructs his astromech to take the ship off the planet and alert the Republic's clone army to the presence of the seperatist forces. As the NK-3 watches, the cockpit closes and the fighter lifts off and heads into space. We then see that Obi-Wan somehow managed to climb from the cockpit undetected in plain view of the NK-3 that was spying on him ... we never got to see the +CLOAK+ flytext, but I think it is clear that is what he did.

EDIT: oops ... can't type tonight.

I dont know if this has been brought up yet, but i have to hurry so i didnt skim the thread.

Mpowers jedi are getting screwed out of one of (if not the) best tricks of their tree. To get cloak is x4xx i believe, so there are plenty of dabblers that pillage it and then go mls or whatever else they want to put their skill points into. Basically to be mpowers is to self nerf. Force choke is great, but its not so good against other jedi, which dominate pvp. On our server anyway. Force breech looks cool, but is it working yet? Cloak seems like it was supposed to be their defense against the jedi with the perks of mls or hard hitting pvp attacks...it looks like they are getting pillaged from where im sitting. Anyway, not a flame, just seems weird that more mpowers jedi arent bent about it as well. Every other other temp with cloak is having their cake and eating it too, at their expense it seems.

Not a flame, and again if someone already brought this up, apologies.

I followed a Jedi for over 20 mins today, he took the piss out of me using Cloak the entire time, the only time he did come out was to blow my BARC. I got a shot on him and he was able to Cloak again. Surely if they get hit they can't cloak?? Its wosre than the old /feigndeath.

Force breach ain't worth jack. "Oh, you stripped my buff. Hold on, it'll be right back. In the meantime I'll heal through it and continue to pound you into paste."

Every tree has a defensive maneuver (or more than one). Cloak is the only defensive ability worth spending force on. Moving it higher to the Mpowersbox means that for that discipline you don't get the defense you need to survive until you don't need it as much anymore.

Bah that sucks about force breech. Whats the deal with the defenses of the rest of the trees? I know you have to mix up the skills of trees to get a temp thats worth a damn, but cloak is just insane in the hands of the griefer kash crew. Nothing breaks it, it uses force dependant on how many people are around as i understand it, but jedi can force meditate while cloaked. Force regen x's 5 and all you get for the trouble of going for your mark is a cloaker doing /rude, /tickle, or /mock while chillin, toatlly safe, all element of surprise gone.

I dont think the ability itself should be nerfed at all, but im at a loss, so moving it to a master box sounds good. Someone who can do that end all be all of defenses shouldnt also have the skills and higher dps of a mls. There should be a point where you have to choose whatdiscipline your toon should be devoted to. Its getting abused as hell right now with the way its being used, bh's cant go to the terms anymore without a cloaker there running there emotes on them. Maybe when (if) the current bugs are fixed things will look up. In this case its cloak for jedi, but there are other instances of a prof having an awesome skill that got taken advantage of. In the end the nerf bat always comes out instead of rearranging what it takes to get said skill, and that really sucks for the people who are using it to have fun.

Sabers doesn't have huge defense. Mostly just the saberblock. But the defense they have is available as a Tier 1 box. Powers has one defense, and that's a Tier 4 box.
