Ugh, you are so annoying, go back to the Jedi forums.
As for Jedi to MBH, it won't affect me that much, since I am a MBH. But they better give us more skills to go after a knight, and make it so only online jedi are on the terms, faction would be a great help too. But since when does SOE care about what BH's say? It's all about the jedi.

I dont see how moving it to master was a big deal though... what im upset about is the Terminal Changes.... It completely ruins the "hunt" and makes us nothing but waypoint chasers.... To me the terminal change is just making an already to easy life for jedi even easier.
A Jedi Life isnt easy Maybe for you it was but I know of some jedi Paddys who get hunted 3 times a night and they lose anywhere from 100-200k xp. I say leave things alone and take out the XP Loss jedi get. I know the feeling of a risk vrs reward but what risks do BHs take? Nothing but a few Lost droids. I have several accounts 1 Jedi and 1 BH and a few others I know how it is on both sides of the fence.
Sounds like a good idea for me.
But then we need to add more BH-jedi pvp power to MBH box for compensation. Should be extra damage vs jedi or a root/daze/paralyze thing to counter jedi force run.

A melee bounty hunter's disadvantage compared to a ranged one is that they must fight within range of all the Jedi's attacks in order to hit the Jedi with their own attacks. Their ability to stand toe to toe fighting the Jedi is reliant upon their ability to heal. I have found that you need at least 4000 CM to be an effective melee bounty hunter in the current system.
If this change goes through, it would mean that it would no longer be possible to fit in even Novice Combat Medic with a master melee profession. It is not possible to survive on stims and ruby bliel alone as a melee bounty hunter. I've done extensive testing with and without healing abilities. Bottom line is, you need healing skills to be a melee bounty hunter.
I've had a Knight myself for a long time now, but lately my favorite content in the game has been what my melee bounty hunter allows me to do. I know I am in the minority, but I really enjoy being a meleefighter even in this world of ranged fighters. I really like hunting player Jedi, but I like being a Fencer more. This change forces me to pick one or the other, since it would no longer be viable to be both.
This change would effectively ruin what I have enjoyed most about this game lately. I'm also nearly certain they won't provide us a respec even though they're ruining so many of our templates. Devs, if you want to move player bounties up, move them to Investigation IV. Please reconsider and save the melee BH.
If you are suggesting that melee bounty hunters (with CM 4000) are more effective than ranged ones, then I would say there was an inblance. With how easily a melee player can be kited and foiled with roots, snares, and mezes, I don't see how moving the missions to master did anything to fix "insanely balanced" templates.
The change to MBH is a stylistic change, and one that shouldn't have been made before changes to more important balance-breaking issues and bugs.

Thats a good point, and the biggest downfall to this idea. As of now there are some very effective BH "Dabblers" hunting Jedi. If this goes live, the number of active, effective,Jedi hunters will be cut in half easily. Wich will only lead to a even bigger Jedi population. Its not like the Jedi need it any easier.
My question is, "Why not have BH Dabblers?" There are plenty of Jedi Dabblers who are a force to be reconed with at even the 100k mark. I am a MBH/MRifles/CM 4000, and fought a 100k Jedi for 45 minutes last night that ended in a stand still. We couldnt hurt each other with the heals, and his reduced force costs for armor, and my Deulists Stance, and he had Rifleman too. My armor would have been toast before one of us got the upper hand. Pretty good for a Paddy, dont you think?
So if only MBH will be able to hunt Jedi, then make MBH be able to fight and win against the Jedi Dabblers, or remove Jedi Dabblers also. Or maybe bring back PermaDeath.
When this goes live, and all the BH dabblers fall to the side lines, The Jedi will grow to outnumber all other professions. So much for a SWG. They should just go ahead and give all starting players a Jedi. It is what the SWG is turning into anyway. Just hurry up and get it over with.
As some one who mastered the Bounty Hunter prof twice, pre and pos-CU, no Respec used, I think it's a really good deal.
No ordinary dabbler should have a bounty hunter privilage.

Utterly pointless.
You could argue that it gives a "reward" for mastering the profession, but it's so easy to do so now, there's not much to be rewarded for.
You could also that it gives a reason for mastering. However with the CU and the changes to the profession as a whole, the skills and abilities granted in the box have already made most Bounty Hunters into MBH.
