Thread: Why do YOU hunt Jedi?

Because theres nothing like taking on and defeating the most powerful class in the game. Its a big risk, lots can happen, you lose sometimes. But oh when you win! Personally my favorite fights are the ones in the mo or theed, its like a show almost. People stop what they are doing and watch and comment in the spatial and its intense. The best fights ive ever had are those where i was kd'ed, barely any health, and popped back up and gotten some heals in and finished the job. Your pride isnt on the line like that anywhere else in the game. You lose in pvp you have a group situation to blame it on. You lose as a bh and its all on you. Makes your victories sweeter imo.

man, if they gave us (me anyway), cl80 or higher npc missions with good payouts, I wouldnt fight another jedi again.

The Jedi overrun the Galaxies, that's one reason why we hunt them. Another reason is the money, good payouts for full temps
and it's fun too, more challenging that NPC mish.

I do not hunt Jedi , because I do not like PVP ( had my fill playing another game )
Plus PVP brings out the worst in players.
I know that the money is good, but there has to be other reasons also.

To keep the Jedi population down. Yeah, I know there's no permadeath anymore, but every XP taken from a Jedi, is one less Jedi Knight-wannabe. This takes place between episodes 4 and 5, not during the days of the old republic. Jedi should be very, very rare, not 1 or 2 in every Lok group, or 5 of them dueling outside the starport! It's getting WAY out of hand. I'm not trying to "punish" anyone - I do my job without hate. I'm just trying to make this game into Star Wars as it was in the OT, not KOTOR.
...the money doesn't hurt, either! ![]()

I like the RP aspect of it. Even though I may not be as seasoned as other BH, I appreciate the hunt and like the feeling of stalking a jedi without them knowing your there. Or when you go right up to the and engage in conversation, or get an invite into their group. I like the sneaky tactics that you can employ. Unfortunately, I don't have MBH, so I have to grind some more before I hunt jedi again.

hehe. That's the only thing I HATE about this job. So many Jedi on the ignore list just because of their childish antics. I do like the "good fight"-type Jedi. It's a game, be a good sport - on both sides.

I've tried the group thing on Lok lots of times. I guess I'm just unlucky!
Most Jedi use the /duel exploit first.

Like after I kill him:
Jedi: "you can come attack me when I am not afk next time"
me: "you were moving an awful lot for an afk"
