I'm Rifleman/Fencer, Usually people get surprised when you have been Heatshot3-ing them, they run into a building or they get really close to you and you use a Janta Knive and Stone Knife with Mind Poison, Intimidate them and keep spaming HS3

COMBO HIT 2 from TK
Multiple times about 10-12 times (kills any PSG they are wearing)

Switch to Baton
/warcry2;
/intimidate2;
/lunge;2
/dizzyhit3;

If this gets him on his back walk away and warcry him if it didn't work and stack about 2 Intim's on him, walk up and SPAM THE HELL OUT OF SCATTER2 or BodyHit3

I hate to burst your bubble, but kinetic damage from your vk's doesn't touch the psg.

I'm just getting back into pvp, but I usually intimidate and hit them with either my poison gaffi or mind fire gaffi with a state line dizzy...then warcry.....then go for the lunge just as the poison will tick. Now when you are beating on them make sure to throw in 4-5 scatter hits every now and then if you notice ytour damage output decreased b/c they most ikely popped a synthsteak. then I 1h3 them when on the ground or hit them with my dot weapon and spam dizzy since most probablly have doc and are doing a stand/cure dizzy macro.

I'm a stacker fencer. MFencer, MBrawler, 1040 pistoleer, 0040 pike, and 0304 TK. The only real question I have is how to deal with TKM stackers. I generally have no trouble killing TKM's, but stackers always seem to outlast me. HH1 from them pretty much kills me everytime. I've tried every tactic I can think of shy of DoT's. I think DoT's are a little sensless to use in a friendly duel. So is there no way to kill a stacker TKM without DoT's? Someone help meh!

I hate to make you look like you don't sh*t about TK, But AP1 against a PSG with Resistance against Stun, 9/10 will have a Vulnerability to Kinetic. And yes, It does tear thru PSG's.

Ok, we have a million different template threads.

Now let's have some detailed discussion about how you use your skills in these situations:

1) duels, especially against melee stackers

2) small group battles

3) larger group battles, e.g. attacking a base

duels- warcry, intimidate, kite, headshot3.

small group battlles- intimidate, kite andheadshot3 the guy with weakest defenses first or the one thats gunning for you. If you have dots then strafshot2 a few times to make sure everyone gets hit.

large group battles- same as small group battles

In large groups, I'd tend to use Flushing 2 rather than Strafe 2, since the damage isn't that much lower, and you're constantly re-applying the stun. That'll help out your melee comrades a lot, I'd think.

On a related note, I just got wasted one-on-oneby a TKA because I couldn't get up for the life of me (dizzy/kd). People talk about dizzy/stand macros as if that totally nullifies the whole KD thing - is that just people being boastful, or do you guys really find they work? If they DO work, what am I doing wrong?

Before I get told to fill myself up with every 'situation-specific' food known to man, the situation was that I was farming an Imperial base I happened across, so I was already full with brandy/synthsteak/bivoli/canape, and I had a TEF, and combat was initiated by the TKM at close range. That was it, game over. No chance to get to kiting range, and I simply couldn't get up.

Can anyone who thinks they have a successful macro let me know what they use? I think mine is a simple /kneel; /healstate dizzy self

Cheers

For any type of group fighting, I find it a good idea to target the Combat Medics first. In my experience, they've generally had lower overall defenses than the more "direct combat" oriented players. You will likely do more damage to the CM if you just lay into them with headshots...at least this is what I have encountered. Eliminating the CM is paramount because it gets their DoTs out of the way and prevents them from healing anyones mind.

When getting up from KD/Dizzy, make sure you don't spam stand, press it once, see what happens, then agina, till you stand. Changing posture while Dizzy, KD's you so if you stand and press stand, you will be KD agian.

I already have a great food combination so that's not really where it comes to play, I need help with what tactics I should use in PVP.

I'm a MLS MDEF Healer 4xxx and novice enhancer (negative XP stops me from fixing my template atm)

Can someone throw me some good PVP tactic ideas?

Pick up anything, a bar, stick, rock whatever and keep hitting whatever is infront of you until it doesn't move. Your defenses are good enough to live through just about anything.

My suggestion is to do some research before you purchase a jedi off ebay.

Sadly enough too many jedi that ask how to fight are ebays.
If you have a full template then chances are you chose that template for a reason and while grinding it learned to use it effectively.
