This is the reason Jedi's shouldnt stand around in big city's playing with their glowsticks.

Hunting is not the Jedi way - you dont want to fall to the dark side do you? 
But in all seriousness I think the question on whether to go master pistoleer or carbine is whether or not advanced cripple shot is good enough to keep jedi at range from you.
Has anyone tested this out to see if Advanced Cripple does the job well enough?

MBH/MCARB/Rifleman 4/0/4/0
hehe currently using a tkm/Mbh/4000 commando template . Seems to do very well in pve , an holds up good in pvp . Nothing glamourous but it gets the job done .

no skill should completely remove another character from combat and allow them to be damaged at will. root is a EQ skill and has no place in SWG.
the KD move is fine now because it gives a short advantage and is not overpowering. using root against non-jedi is just as effective. its the new kd/dizzy move and should just be done away with now before it gets out of hand on live. its no different than novice brawler warcry on live.
I guarentee you that if I shot you in the foot you wouldn't be moving at all. I think that's Star Warsy enough.

Right now I'm running a 3410 BH/0000 Carb. Workin towards MBH/MCarb. I'm enjoying it so far, I can solo mobs about 3 lvls higher. I havent gotten into PVP at all, so not sure how well any of the specials will work. Oddly...Legshot does about 200+ more dmg than any of my BH specials.
I'm also working to reach MBH/MCarbineer and is great in PvE. Ihave some skills in medic and /bactashot can be a life saver in dangerous fights, is a good complement.
