That had to be the longer story of crap I have ever read.

If you where not buffed, and a Jedi knew you where a bountyhunter you would of been dead in a Heartbeat. Go make a "choose your own adventure." Story off the forums man you looser.

First off the word is "loser" not "looser" what exactly is he looser than? Certainly not your mom.

Fact is he was buffed, the Jedi did know he was a BH and the Jedi ended up dead. Now go back to your mommies teet

I would have to agree that the story is a little far fetched. TKM stacked, buffed jedi got incapped with a LLC by an unbuffed BH? Any BH who has killed buffed Jedi know that the LLC is more effective if thrown! Using Lighting Cone II unbuffed will chew your HAM faster than a carbine and one or two hit by a saber and you are pushing up daisies. If I called Taurus Excrement in accurately please feel free to dispute with screenshots and/or chat logs.

I apologize that my story seems so farfethced. I really didn't know that it was that unbelievable, otherwise I would have made some screenshots. My bad. I'll try and clarify a few things to see if that helps.

As I said, I was unbuffed by a doc. I did however have brandy and thako, and I ate a little bit of synthsteak too. Like I said, I assumed the Jedi was buffed based on his stats, and that at least seems to be confirmed by the couple people who did believe my story.

I believe I was only hit ONCE by his saber. This may be even harder to believe, but as I said, I wasn't really doing any significant damage to the guy, and was able to stay about 35-40m away from him when he did actually try to attack me. I assume he didn't have saber throw, because if he did, he didn't use it. The one time he did hit me with the saber was when he came back out of his house, because I was busy chatting with the friend who was bringing a bomb droid for me, and got caught off guard. This took me about 1/2 down I'd say, at which point I burst ran, which hurt some more.

However, I guess I didn't mention it, but I do have novice medic. Like I said, I made MBH when it still took 217 skill points (then stopped playing until now just after they switched, so like I said, I hadn't started training in pistoleer or anythign else), and most MBH back then used novice medic, or at least most suggested it to me. I would assume they still do now, but I don't know. I have high quality stim b's from a doctor friend of mine, and used about 50 of them (give or take a few) in the fight.

So when the Jedi did actually bother to attack me, and when I used up my HAM trying to use specials, I used stim b's to heal myself. I know that most of us aren't used to fighting unbuffed like this, but I'm actually not. I never bothered to buff while grinding investigation, so I'm used to having to conserve stims and special attacks so that I don't kill myself. It's really not that difficult if you've never tried it.

Now, the first time I incapped the Jedi, I was shocked as anyone, because up until that point, I wasn't doing crap to affect him. Personally, I think the most unbelievable part of my story was just that I hit him twice with a cone 2. But I did, and that's how I managed to drop him. Anyone who is smart and has the skills will start using stims to bring their ham back up right as a fight is over, which I did as I walked over to the Jedi. Being that my stims heal for about 460 usually, and that I was down a little below half my ham, one shot basically brings me back to full, so it doesn't really take a lot of ingenuity.

Then, as I said, the Jedi jumped right back up and came at me. I hadn't gotten close enough to DB him (Anyone know if that I HAD, if I could have gotten him before he jumped back up?), so when I heard his saber ignite, I hit burst run and back pedaled away from him as quick as I could. I can't really say for sure if he hit me with his saber here, as I was so confused by what was going on, I was just running and waiting for the timer to expire so I could heal again and negate the effects of my burst run. Again, I was able to keep away from him by about 35-40m, so he wasn't hitting me with anything.

Then, as I said, he eventually ignored me again, before laying down and just letting me take him.

I mentioned also that he was fighting storm trooper spawns. They were easily hurting him more than I was, and he was a bit injured by them when I incapped him the first time. It didn't seem too significant of damage, but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

So, yeah, I did it. Yeah, I shouldn't have been able to, but as I mentioned throughout my post, I wasn't a threat it seemed (we were even joking with eachother about this), and he basically just let me go about my business, until I surprised us both by incapping him. As the non-believers have stated, an unbuffed BH stands no chance against a buffed Jedi, and both of us knew this. I think he assumed that I would get frustrated that I couldn't kill him and leave, which I almost did. I might be the luckiest SOB for this to have all happened, but I can't do more than just tell you that it did and hope you believe me. If you don't, too bad I suppose.

I've been playing SWG since July 1, 2003. Ive read these boards almost everyday for the past year but I never really posted anything or chatted with you guys. Well today I have a very good reason to post. I killed my first Jedi!

I grabbed a mission from Kaadra and tracked him down to Coronet where he and many other people were croweded around CSR-Chris. So I thought, this is it. I'm gonna get my first kill. I walked up to him, took out my bomb droid, and BOOM! Half damage. Then used torso shot for bleed and health shot until he went incapped. I DB'ed him and then got a million tells of rebels that were yelling at me for killing this jedi.

I too am a rebel. He tried to make me feel bad by saying stuff like he was 200k away from some Jedi skill. I told him now he was 400k away, you're welcome.

I'm not here to have other people tell me who I can hunt. I pay my $15 a month for about a year and a half and I'm gonna play this game however I want to.

My advice to all other Jedi's: "Don't run; you'll just die tired"

I will try my best next time to hunt imperial jedis so I don't piss off the entire Rebellion.

i hope to post here more often and become more involved. All in all, it was great and was an adrenaline rush

Happy Hunting

You sound like a grumpy old man. You are a poor excuse for a Bounty Hunter. Most Bounty Hunters on my server are actually very polite, the other's just don't say anything. I've gotten killed by a BH and yes i've been upset and yelled things at them, but the BH's just say "i'm doing my job". Try and be more tactful it will get you further, and i hope to Lord Vader you don't become a JEDI.

Don't swallow that garbage. You did everything you're supposed to be doing in this game. You're a Bounty Hunter, you're supposed to keep these Jedi at a minimum.

Look, truth of the matter is there's way too many Jedi running around in SWG. So inconsitant with the movies.. This game NEEDS Bounty Hunters to thin the herd down.. Too many of them running around, showing off, "Look at my fancy Flashlight.." That's what they deserve. Maybe if they were more discreet they wouldn't end up on terminals.

Well done. Congratulations on killing your first Jedi. Don't ever feel bad for doing what the game developers put in this game.. It's part of the game, why not use it?

If you really want to get these Jedi agitated, post a screenshot of it like I did. Wait until you see how many PMs you get from pissed Jedi. They have no honor in the game, they always run, and when they do they can't ever fight without back up.

Nice, it is our job to keep the jedi population in line. It's not our job to be nice.
