I find this answer to be wholly unacceptable on the part of the Devs. This bug came out with the TEF/PvP changes, and has been in the game MONTHS before the CURB. It still plagues player jedi missions to no end. With the increased delay on special attacks, and reduced delay on jedi heals, as it exists now damage to the health bar cannot be done until the target is out of force. This bug removes the main advantage of the Bounty Hunter, deciding when and where to fight. All the jedi has to do no is run into a player structure, heal and regen force, and they are ready to go again.
This is a source of an incredible amount of frustration, and no matter how many bug reports get filled out, it is just NOT getting fixed. Personally, I see this issue just as game breaking for Bounty Hunters as anything that came out with the CURB, and that fact it has been allowed to exist for so long only makes it that much more inexcusable.

Bomb droids don't do any damage. I have tons of these in storage, and they are now useless!

Our defenses are still out of whack. Were suppose to be Tanks and in PvP defense does not seem to matter at all except for Jedi with saber block and master defender, something needs to be done about it Tanks!

k this is my first post ever and i do refrain from posting till this issue came up
1. i am new to game literaly
i started account 3 days prior to......CU
2. i just became novice bounty hunter
now being novice bh i thought hey ill try my first bh mission so i mossy up to a bh mission terminal im lev 19 so i decide on a dificulty 15 mission go to a operative get waypoint to my mark and think yaya im almost done with my first bounty...........progress.........(devs slap player back to reality)
i get to my mark and start attacking him/her/it not thinking to look at my marks combat lev to hits im incapacitated .........WTH.......laying there in a pool of blood i look up and see .........30..........(wait this is a diffuculty 15 mission) so i say no i did something wrong look at mission info and wow lev 15 but im looking at a lev 30 mark.
so being new to this game just cfurious if this is a problem that is going to be addressed
side note...
i looked in the holocron and states in the knoledge base bounty hunting profession is not intended to be a group experience .............am i missing something here?

Welcome to SWG! Don't worry, this bug *MIGHT* get fixed a year or 2 down the road. Oh, and don't expect anyone from SOE to be able to help you or acknowledge that there is a problem.

Welcome to SWG! Don't worry, this bug *MIGHT* get fixed a year or 2 down the road. Oh, and don't expect anyone from SOE to be able to help you or acknowledge that there is a problem.
Actually, I dont know if it is or not. If you are a BH novice, then to get that, all you need is Ranged 1-4, and Exploration 1-4 of Scout. That in itself doesnt give you alot. What other skills do you possess. You may want to grind out some pistol or carbine to build up your skills.

Here is my recomendation.
master pistolas
bh 4xxx
sl x4xx
ch 4x34 (this will allow train mount, grouping , t1 and t2, and taming aggressives. )
your subs are scout 4x44 and marksman x4x4
This will give you some defenses, and alittle more hit power. As well as your pets.

No offence but what difference will that make?
I'm a lv16 Novice Pistoleer/Novice Bounty hunter and I just took my first two missions. They bothsaid diff - 15, but when I get there both of them are lv35 + so it won't matter what skills I take.
It pisses me off because I am going to have to sit and grind all the way up to lv 35 which I can't do alone now and of course all the lv60+ PC's running about don't want to have anything to do with a evil noob.
It pisses me off is I've wasted an hour of my life running around finding two marks well outta my league that the mission terminal said I could do.
What REALLY pisses me off is by the look of it SOE are going to do nothing about it, just like everything else.

What i'm trying to say without much luck in the above post is that I understand before you worry about hunting someone down you should be able to deal with them (so I need to work on my combat skills) but it would be nice if the terminals TOLD us that you're going to run into a lv35 guy here.

Hey I'm a MBH and lately I've been havin a problem. I've been trackin my marks down usin the droids, but the mark isn't at the location. This has happened to me 3 times already. I check the entire area. 
can someone help me out ?
