Anyone calling the Starsider server a "noob" server needs some reality check. We have the best space pvp scene of all the servers, with organised mass battles each week, and at least a decent if not great ground pvp scene - a significant part of both (the main part in space) are roleplayers.

Then add to that dedicated roleplayers holding all kind of events, from imperial conferences to restaurant cruises to GCW plots, and you get one of the best servers to play on.

Edit: But yes, on the forums we are THE drama server - pvp and roleplayers alike.

Welcome to the New Galactic Empire, a very hidden organization that has managed to kill far more citizens and destroy far more communities than theImperial Navycould have ever dreamed of.....

I am just heading towards a FS unlock, and I DONT care about the xp nerf, I fully expect my fellow BH's to come after me and keep my jedi down, I expect it to takea yeaqr to reach Jedi, and when I do I expect the low number of jedi around by then to be such that only the determined are still around, and then the shock and awe of seeing a jedi in the game will return.

I remember when people whispered about a friend of a friend saw a jedi somewhere. Thats how I would like it again. You dont have to be Jedi you dont have to be lvl 80 to enjoy the game. If you do want jedi you have to put in the work and run the risks.

as a BH I want a Jedi that I can respect, as a Jedi I want it to be a hard path I want it to be a REAL challenge. As for the XP nerf hurting every body, I have characters that range from artisan \ newb combat to lvl 80, I dont believe the new grind to be any worse than a crafting elite grind. yet people DO grind all the way to an elite crafting proffession and thats far more boredom than bol slaughter.

My most respected proffessions at the moment for sheer dedication, tailor \ armoursmith \ DE (without grinding advanced frame units)

I did armorsmith right off the bat. I headed for it right away when you had to mine everything by hand and there was no +5% experience for practice. It took a whole guild to get me to master and it took about 3 months to do it. I had to rely on my friends to get me hide so I could make them 15% chitin armor which they were happy to have at the time. I didn't power grind my way to master and I sold everything I made. My goal wasn't to master as fast as possible but my honest to god goal was to have fun...and it was fun. This guild is still around today and was forged through this hard work, which sadly is an element now lacking in this game. I thought the xp change was fine. It honestly was about what a crafter gets when they make an item and doesn't even require you to burn up resources to do it. The game is meant to be be played not steamrolled. I know full jedi templates that have not even went to all the POIs nor have they mastered a pilot profession nor have they ever killed the marauders in the marauder cave. It's sad really. That's why I think the jedi thing ruined the game....not because of their superior strength but because it made half of everyone lose sight of what the game was originally about.
