question is - is it worth to have ?

coud be usefull in battle - not for escape but tactics like - hit target , cloak , go from the back of the target , hit ...

sorry for my english

For this? No. It can if used correctly be good for scouting, and getting the jump on a target. However, you are forced uncloaked upon an attack, for re-cloaking you need some distance from any mobs/npcs/players and you can still be /targeted once they know your name. CM's at present can still attack you as well if they can /target you.

I understand wanting a decent template, but why does everyone want the I win button template? Why not just get what you think would be fun? And trust me, Powers IS fun. I don't really even care that it sucks my force dry.

Sitting 30m from someone, force-meditating, then cloaking on them is just so much fun by itself that it should be illegal.

In addition to that, you need to be X-amount of distance away from an NPC / PC in order to activate it... So if a BH were to come calling, you would have to Force Run away for a bit and than hit Force Cloak. I would assume by then, you'd have already been targeted.

BTW, are the shadow suppose to show when u are cloked or is it a bug?

2 I do alot, just for the sheer fun of it.

It's a bug, shouldn't be able to /target either, but I think that one may be a bit difficult for them to suss' out, probably be awhile before that gets worked out. As you can do it on rifleman as well that are concealed. Just a game mechanic.

As for the other post on effectiveness, I'd have to disagree, at least for any normal PVP engagements. It's good for recon and surprise, and maybe staying alive if you play it that way. But even with area KD, usually 1 or so are uneffected, and can't usually get far enough away from everything needed, but I suppose in the right situations.....*shrug*

There is a sticky that talks about shadows being seen on force cloak. If the person looking for you has their shadows set to simple there is some recognition. If set to volumetric they can't.

hmm in a attack on our bases by 3 times are number force cloak was extremly useful i fr away so i can cloak come back watch for those who try to get into turret range and as soon as they do de cloak and start firing supression so they are all stuck in turret range.

The cloak-and-hit tactics DO work...especially if you have FR1...in which case you pretty much get to determine when and where you're gonna do your hits. A jedi with good timing can do a KD/Choke/runaway and cloak...against anyone NOT using foods or below level 80...it's pretty much over.

/target <name> is possible, although attacking is only possible with area attacks (e.g. combat medic poison, disease).
