Thread: Regarding House-Jedi (Updated 10/14)

How about as BH's we get some bio-engineered killer catapillars like the BHhad in episode II that went after Amidala.
We can slip under the door to kill them. Of course if the jedi is at the keyboard he should be able to fight back and kill them no problem (asanakin and obiwandid) remaining safe and sound in his home, but they should be able to kill an afk Jedi if they just sit there for 10 minutes.
There might be some way of making so that they could kill the catapillar without a tef, but then again they would just set up some afk macro to kill the catapillar thing. One thing would be to make the catapillar easy to kill like have an option in the radial menu to kill it. There would be no afk macro for that.

Why would that not be enough so u lose a droid, a bit of time, but thats life sometimes its frustrating sometimes it downright sucks but we all have to deal with it.
Sure ull get jedi running into houses if u they see u but hell chasing a bounty tracking them and stalking them is part of the fun isnt it? or is it to grief? make them lose something?
Every community needs to look at itself and how to improve its gameplay but not by nerfing others skills with complaints.

I would hardly call house campig a skill. It's more of an exploit.

I happen to agree with you. Sure, some Jedi log on and sit in their house..IF they want to waste their time in that way, and the game supports the ability, so be it.
Personally, I'd think a Jedi running in, taunting me and then getting away to cloak is FAR more annoying than them sitting in their structure.
After all, if they are in their house sitting, they AREN'T killing immersion in the GCW,

i disagree. the only bh who complains that his mark is notconvenientlyattackable is an impatient bh.

impatient BH's are the issue. the jedi do NOT have to fight you. they pay the same amount of money as we do, so why limit their gameplay? if they want to sit in their house all day and play tiddly winks then let them its their money let them play the game how they want. if youre really intent on killing said jedi, hold his mission that simple. if you run up on a jedi guns blazing the majority of the time you will die. stalk your target, learn his routines, follow him, learn when he does his macros, learn when he takes them off. BH'ing is a profession based on Patience you have to be Patient if you want a kill. especially with the terminals spitting out all full templates. but i guess im preaching to the respec BH's who respec'd to BH and want to kill jedi but dont want to put time and effort into it /sigh

Im lost but where do i see it where theirs PvE Jedi? or better yet when you become a jedi where is the PvE option to turn off Player BHs etc? .. im sure there is no such thing.
Jedi are meant to fight BHs when they have substained enough Visibility, Its not your choice if you like it or not,But we are each others content and part of becoming a jedi is facing off with Bounty Hunters.

Just because WE are meant to hunt Jedi does NOT mean they HAVE to fight. It's not a guarantee of PvP whatsoever, or there would be a system in place that makes darned sure they will. Part of being a BH is knowing that sometimes you WON'T fight, and that sometimes you will lose.

Visibility = Get HUNTED, not "meant to fight".

i see some people fail to see where im coming from so let me break it down for you short bus riders ok. Yes I know jedi are forced into PVP by becoming a Jedi. Yes i know all that good stuff. ive been a BH the whole time ive played this game, BUT here is what you simple minds are forgetting, theres this thing called being busy and not having time for a 40minute to an hour fight. they have better thigns to do, just because you come and attack him does NOT mean he HAS to stay and fight, he can root you and run as he pleases. like i said its his $15 amonth not yours. theres these things called obligations. if he runs from you, track him simple as that, if he runs its YOUR fault you couldnt kill him, YOU messed up in the kill. dont fault the jedi for your stupidity

How about a time limit on being in the house.
Once the BH arrive on location, they could then activate the timer.
Upon activation the Jedi will receive a system message, "Come out with your hands up, we have you surrounded, you have 10 minutes to exit the structure" and after 10 minutes they get booted out.
Or more simply, just have a 1h time limit to a jedi being in a private structure while they are on the terms. If they are AFK, they can log off.
