And healing costs action in pub 24, right? To me that will pretty much kill my ability to solo the 30k+ HAM bosses by itself...

Right, and there are two levels of elite marks (the silver ones) and two levels of the bosses. They have one or two chevrons to signify that.
I think it's a pretty common question, I didn't know what people were talking about until I made a high enough level to start pulling some and saw for myself

You can get healed by someone else. And they can attack if the mark AOEs them.

Not bragging but my temp's MBH MP CM4000 andI have never needed to suit up or eat foods to take out the boss marks. The double gold boss while it takes a little longer,I think is still pretty easy. No NPC mark has ever dropped me. Again not bragging just a point.

Sorry for raising this yet again but i have just had another of these super bosses. 31k health double gold bar. I have had a few of these before and while they are a difficult fight I've only had to call in reinforcementsoncebefore but they never had anything on this guy. I had doc buffs and was fully loaded with food (crispic, thundercloud, spice tea, kanali, exo protien and blob candy as well as regen as i'm a trando). I am a MBH MP medic xx2x sl xxx3. Ok 1st off was a 15 min fight i was grouped with my repair droid (mainly for the heals) and between us we never scratched him he never went below 95% health. He was hitting hard but i could keep up using heals and stims (the only reason i died was because i was looking through my inventory for an energy weapon). i was wearing 8k tantel and using a very good FFWG so it's not down to equipment.
I invited a few people to try and take him out but even though they were combabtant he wouldn't agro them (well he did one but only for a couple of shots). Because he was using a FWG he wouldn't agro other NPC's either (not that any NPC in Agro starport would have stood after 1 shot). In the end I just burst ran away because the damage to my armour just wasn't worth it.
Sorry if there seems no point to this post and you've heard it all before but i just had to write it down coz i was so frustrated - I'm all for better AI and a challange but this one was way over the mark. I suppose i will just have to delete the misson and hope i never get him again

Well to end the story I logged back in this morning and had another go - this time I started off by using a bomb droid but to no avail - after 5 min I burst ran away as there was no use destroying my armour.
I just logged in again - had a look to see if he was still there and to my surprise found he was now a grey con lvl -1!!! He still had the same health but without the regen and he stood there aiming but not firing until i killed him. I got the 31k payout but he had zero loot

I struggled on my BH alt too, instead of inviting people along to do dmg I invited just 1 guy along to heal me. Worked a treat, took about 15 mins to finally kill him and there was some pretty close calls but he died in the end. Just keep plugging away.
