I guarantee there will be even more village grinders to unlock their slot just so they can have a paddy to farm his Jedi kill rates. Status symbol? Some people think having a Jedi Master title is status symbol. All that took was fight clubbing butt naked BH'ers to farm for rankings.

So.... let me get this straight... Only people that have no life, no job, no bills to pay and can play this game 24/7 should be entitled to have a mando armor? I pay the same money as you we all do... I think that I am entitled to have that armor. So is everyone else. Also not everyone does Player bounties. What about those people that pay just as we all do? Are they not entitled to have that? Or they should be forced to do player bounties or leave if they don't like that? Are you just upset that you had to go and do hard quests to get your armor and now everyone can get it fairly easy? Well let me tell you this. Unless you can heal yourself like crazy those boss marks will kill you very fast because they hit for about 450-600 points of damage every second, plus no guarantee that they would drop a schem for you either.I think its hard enough to get. It should stay as it is.
Umm, we're talking about Mandalorian, not Bounty Hunter armor. He's not saying killing 1000 Jedi for a set of Bounty Hunter, he's saying 1000 for a set of Mandalorian. Big difference between the two.
But I will say that Mandalorian armor shouldn't be the sole reward to Jedi who can camp the level 90 spawn that drops them. Honestly, it's sad when you need a Jedi to get a non-Jedi item. But I do think Mandalorian should be available to anyone who can wear it. Commandos deserve Mando as much as we do because even though the last known Mandalorian is a Bounty Hunter, Mandalorians had their own group called "Mandalorian Super COMMANDOS." Squad Leaders could also take advantage of the fact that there were, well, Squad Leaders for the Mandalorians. Jango was one before he became a Bounty Hunter (and his squad got decimated by a Jedi trap).
Best way to make mando armor more difficult to get would be to make it so you need to goto boba fett in jabba's palace to get an entry code to get inside the bunker, everyone who wants to go in your group needs their own individual code....and make it so Boba won't talk to Jedi
Eliminate the Jedi from the bunker, and it make it BRUTALLY difficult to survive inside it

yea but it's not as though he has a warehouse of them where he's just like
"Oh you finished the Deathwatch Bunker?...OK - give me a moment *rummages through warehouse*...here you go, bright and shiny...it's a copy of my armor, enjoy!"
I agree totally that hunting Jedi should have no relevance to obtaining Mando armor, hell it shouldn't even be the focal point of the BH profession. To me it's just a side effect of the fact that BHs were the counter to Jedis in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.
I mean we've seen 2 Bounty Hunter vs. Jedi fights in the movies...ever (don't gimme that EU "omgz Boba lived!!" garbage)

Winner : Luke Skywalker by Sarlacc munchiness
I can't say that I have a better solution but as someone said earlier - forcing people to PvP for the sake of content kills the whole point of the game. Not saying it should be like RIS or BH Armor where you can buy a fullset for 5mil or less, but it shouldn't be practically inaccessibleto those who aren't friends with like 20 Jedi.
