well yeah.... I do .... why do you only hunt player hunt Jedi then? because ive stated before in differnt post's a NPC hasnt got the Survival instinct. theyll fight you till the bitter end till they are dead weather or not they can win. aPC' will always run if its getting to bad or they will put up a better fight. they will surprise you in ways and its more of a challenge.if icould huntother playersi would. OK so we are outlaws under order 66 is it? ok I can accept that...
but what about other professions as well? as a Master BH instructor to the un-enlightend ... let me ask you... would you soley hunt Jedi if able or would you take on any Player mission? as i stated before id hunt anyone i could. i dont fight Jedi because they give more money or anything. i hunt jedi for the challenge they think along lines that as it currently stands a NPC will never.
would it be exciting as a BH if your terminal said Player or non player on missions yes lol any PC mark is a good mark with maybe the exception of Entertainer's and Crafters that cant defend them selve's..... and you have no idea what profession he/she is till you see the person as you are stalking them ? i alwaysstalk my mark for a few hoursbefore i attack. i am a prepub 9 BH and no stranger to haveing to stalk a mark tofigure out their template. selecting which armor to wear ... selecting shich weapon you think will be most effective VS that type of proffession? in all honest answer's yes. it would bring some excitement to the game because it is only that even if you think of it as a BH Vs jedi system its still a game with in a game.
what if it was a BH that failed to finish a Mark.... would you still hunt them? Yes not because they Failed to kill a mark not because of the credit's because of the challenge once again (gotta love that)

ish. if i wanted wide scale PVp id just go overt between rebel/Imperials
why not expand your hunting then keep it limited to just Jedi.... sure ..I see your point... hunt us..hunt ALL of us not just Jedi.... would that be fun? ive been all for this on multiple Posts for when they have been brought up. if i could id hunt anyone i could but the problem is mostly the Dev's to have us to hunt you means we must have a balanceing counter measure against you. this tactic will bring us up to your standard so we can kill you (in theory your 1.5 times greater than us Only in theory) but what about Fencer's? tkms? pistolers? they will also have to be brought up to our level so they can contend on the level of a BH which will have to contend to the level of a jedi. see the problem? sooner or everyone will have to be on par with each other. one of the biggest reasons why some people are against this type of system. then there would have to be a full rework of the system and new rules. unfortantly the devs cant be 4ssed to program a system like this. oh well
i actually love people with this type of opinon!

Not much you can do if your dead before you can react i have to agree.
Problem is the devs trying to balance PVP at the same times as PVE in a game system where the 2 work on completely differant systems yet use the same player ablities to interact. Not to mention I would bet they have no real idea as to whats going on in the game comunity anyways.
Anyways, even though i know better than to feed the trolls i could not resist. BTW, that idea with adding the Jedi vrs Jedi was is awsome. Seems to fit the world thats developing here.A sith war or something would be a easy concept to interduce since it already has credence
the problem is if you want to be true to the actual SW world. then id only have to send you a seeker to find you then nuke the place from orbit useing my nice ship

I would...but I think they may pull out the old plasma torch toa Jedi posting there with out actually considering it

but yeah... your a true hunter.... Id def fight you in a duel or as a your mark anyday.... if you ever have a BH toon on intrepid send me a tell we can have a few rounds

lol thanks. there currently is a thread asking weather or not the devs would make a system where a player can make a bounty on someone else. but as i Bmill and a few others have said its to open to exploitation 
though might as well make a new one in a while to see weather or not we could get it to be expanded to other combat proffesions (may be a better time to ask when the smuggler's are includeing in our little party)
i might make a BH on intrepid just for fun btw currently im sticking to Valcyn might expand for a good laugh. happy hunting

Well the way i see it a bh should be able to take a bounty on any person that has basically pissed someone else off. Whether or not in the movies a bh actually was sent after a jedi is a pointless argument because the fact of the matter is they could be sent afterANYONE.The targets profession should make no difference!!! And just because they didn't attack a jedi in the moviesdoesn't mean that it doesn't happen in the starwars realm. For instance on of the missions inthe starwars jedi knight jedi academy game you have to fight Boba Fettein one of the missions so jedi vs bh does happen within the star wars community.

I always find it funny when people say this. Bounty Hunters hunt criminals/wanted people. Jedi are hunted in this day and age ergo, wanted people. I don't know why some of u don't understand that concept. Should they also hunt Smugglers? Yes they should because they are criminals. But Jedi are criminals in this day and age as well.
