he's lieing, I had a saber with -1 fc (perfectly experemented to 8 FC and then I put a -9 in it, it was a 1st gen so it had crap dmg) and it doesnt regen force, I know, I tried

FYI, i did report them. (yes my own guildies)
Now the fact is that big major exploits in weaponry like this really angers me. It doesnt matter if it was a bh with a exploited scatter pistol or a jedi.
I know some people may disagree with me but one thing I like about the CU is that it is much more balanced than any other beta build SOE has put out yet. I simply think that combat should be about the choices the player makes rather than the players weapon. Although a good weapon my be difficult to achieve, everyone who wants one should be able to have the best weapon and still fit into the balance of the system.
The reason this bothers me is becuase allowing these things to continue means that "cheaters and exploiters" will most always be at a advantage while people who "play by the rules" are always going to be disadvantaged.
Now SOE has always been very slow to fix major exploits in my opinion and they have been mostly negligable in their punishment of people who do exploit becuase these people are their customers.
The fact is that the Jedi are not going to be reporting their explioits or making a big deal about it. Somebody has to get it out in the open. From my experience SOE wills censure and ignore anything that they can get away ignoring for as long as possible. So the only way to get something fixed is to get their attention.
Here is why overloaded sabers bother me so much.

Honest Jedi.. took 8-9 months grinded hard, followed the rules. Finally gets full template. Works to get nice pearls and hone his PVP skills, maybe switch template around some more (1 year)
Jedi becomes a good PVPer but no matter what he cannot be jedi B. Jedi B tells Jedi A that they just suck and Jedi A begins to believe it.
Jedi B. Unlocks, uses saber overloading exploit to grind millions of xps in a few hours. Doesnt get visibility, doesnt have to group grind so there are no witnesses or combat logs to prove the damage they are doing. Makes and overloaded saber that is superior to Jedi A, and demolishes Jedi A and claims to have a pre-cu saber or be a pre pub 9 jedi when they just unlocked a few weeks ago.
The fact is that there are people who deserve to be good who cannot compete no matter how hard they try or how hard they worked becuase there is simply no way to compete against an exploiter.
BH's now have to go up gainst mostly full tempalte jedi do to the changes. I see allot of bh's who could defeat or at least have a fun fight with Jedi A. But Jedi B will destroy them and talk crap like they are uber. The bh's run into enough of these guys as the issue grows and the game becomes unbalanced.
Exploiting like this destroys balance. There are also jedi who do not have pre-cu sabers who are out damaging people who do have them.

Jedi with a good non-exploited saber will hit for about 650 to 1500 depending on your armor, defense, and the states the Jedi put on you. Get an Armor Break slice, it helps a lot.
On the other hand, good non-exploited Advanced Laser Rifles hit for up to 2500 on a non-prepared Jedi. Lightsabers are not overpowered.

I've been hit for over 3k by 2 Jedi. With food, RIS armor, and no armor break, and yes, they were out pvping. Devs still looking into it. I hope they get banned for life !

yupp.. and the crappy thing is some jedi managed to hold onto their overloaded sabers from pre CU days .. so they have overloaded sabers with no action cost
it was as simple as putting ADK kits on overloaded sabers before the CU hit and the conversion would get screwed up
but the good news is i have heard of bans from this in the past so i can only assume more bans will come out to deal with the new population of exploiters...
its a tough situation cuz SOE can hide the server boundaries better ... but they will always be there and always be a problem .. i think they should change the way sabers are made period ...and theres nothing they can do about the kids forcing lag upon themselves once at the boundaries ..

Pre-Cu sabers all now have action costs. This was fix way back when. All the noraml "tricks" to get things to stay the same after a patch to fix them comes out, will not work with sabers.

( negative sounding buzzer goes off) sorry bud ... wrong answer ... the 0 action cost sabers are still around .. some of em slipped past the fixes ... and this was confirmed for me as of early august

I can confirm that overloading sabers by crossing server boundarys still works. A friend of me does that and another buglike thing to hit double per hit. So it is not fixed yet... I remember the days when this bug was known and everyone used it. Jedi hit for 2-3k dam and killed everyone in 2 hits. Then it was reported and the worst thing the CSR's did was to delete the sabers they found. No bans at all for this.
The only reasons for a jedi get bannedi saw in 2 years playing SWG now is 1. an exploit to become Master 2. by using 3rd party software.
However nowadays the jedi who uses overloaded sabers is clever enough to put the pearls / crystals out when someone is telling them that he will report him and thats it. And even they dont do that they only lose a few pearls crystals - they always can reproduce.
So all the flaming against the fact that jedi using bugs doesnt care SOE and me doesnt care all about since 1 year now... if they exploit well my bad luck but i can do nothing against that so why shall i get angry?
