Doc your wrong. It was not changed so the jedi can know if a BH is after them yeah right. the duel "EXPLOIT" is basically a big sign on the forehead of a BH thats say im here to kill you. You dont think its an exploitif a Jedi for no reason will "duel" you then cancel the duel challenge just caseu ur a BH, too find out if ur there for them. ha get real. Its an exploit. and it will eventually be
fixed

you're not listening. the /duel to find out if a BH has your mission has been changed. now you can successfully issue the challenge even if they have your mission.

Would you prefer a quote from Sun-Tzu?

What, you didn't find the quote from Yoda to be more applicable? Bounty Hunters read Sun-Tzu as well. But when we apply it, Jedi call it "exploiting".

Do you think Sun-Tzu would consider hiding in your house while the enemy waits outside to be a path to victory? I really can't find anything the The Art of War that would indicate that.

Sun-Tzu also recommended to wait for a 5 to 1 advantage before attacking... Jedi call those "gank squads".

How will you know if victory is possible if you don't try?

Sun-Tzu said invincibility comes from within oneself, vulnerability lies within the opponent. Sounds like the Bounty Hunters are studying it a little more closely than you.

Good one!

I'd rather not try combat with a BH until I stop getting whooped by creatures and NPCs 20 CLs below me. If I can't beat them, how could I expect to beat another player at my own CL, especially a talented BH?

I want to be challenged, not thrashed. I don't mind losing; I get very aggravated at being dropped like wad of chewed up gum.

(FWIW: If I could find BH's willing to drop their mission once they track me down, accept a duel from me, and if I lose pay them what they would've earned from the bounty, I'd be more than willing to fight. There are fewer players in this game in more need of PvP practice than me. )

Think about it guys. A Jedi needs some safe place to do things without getting Jumped.

I was in my house crafting sabers and doing some testing, I do have the right to craft my sabers without getting attacked while doing other Jedi things.

Well, that's life. You choose to be a jedi, which you knew are hunted by Bounty Hunters. If that is a big problem then you shouldn't have wasted so much time on getting jedi.

You 'sir' give bh a bad name. The classic 'You knew what you were getting into' arguement. What the Jedi knew he was getting into was the ability to have private houses. Now you want to change the rules. And you'll say 'You should have known the rules would change'. You are an idiot.

Actually, that IS after they changed the rules. The original rule was "Jedi have no need for structures'. Who's the idiot?

You 'sir' obviously have a problem with reading comprehension. I made no mention of this in my arguement. In those days Jedi then do not resemble Jedi now, nerfed beyond recongnition. If you want to bring up that debate, be my guest.. surfice to say NO bh, 1v1 would ever win against one of those.

I'm referring to the 'you should have known what you were getting into' arguement constantaly, and I may add, overused by whinny bh that don't get their way or can't get the kill. Bh just got a big boost with npc loot and you're still whinning when you find a Jedi doing things in their private house. I welcome bh visits, haven't lost since I got full template yet, even to bh cm combos. And yes, my alt is bh.

no houses because (wait for it)
there were no bh missions. so that's what you want to go back to? fine with me. my jedi can no longer have a house, and bh can no longer hunt him. works all around

looks like you won the 'who's an idiot' contest. grats!

hmmm, if you have my mission, just ask me to come out if I am indoors, many jedi will enjoy a good bit of spirited pvp if it is done with class and a taste of honor. Try asking nicely sometime, you may be surprised at the result. (not implying anything negative about your approach)

I read just fine - you implied that the Jedi knew he'd be able to cower inside private structures - this was not always the case and it only changed because Jedi whined about it.

We call those people "Jedi". You want the rewards, you get the risks. You want the power, you accept the liabilities.

Can you say "saber TEF?". Probably not, since one of the words has two syllables. We didn't need missions to kill you back then. In those days, just showing your glow-p3nis could get you shot.

Jedi SHOULD be in hiding... sadly, they only hide AFTER someone comes to get them. You people aren't Jedi, you're whiny little powergamers who want to be uber but let's face it, if you were truly "uber" you'd have no need to hide.

Why are you so afraid of bounty hunters hunting you? Worried that you might lose? Or do you only like it when you're the only one who has a chance to win?

Seriously, it's this sort of Jedi that makes me sick of the whole damn class - you disgust me. You don't want to play Star Wars Galaxies, you want Jedi Knight Online.
