That place should be in their drawers, when they realize they've been caught.

i put forth that after today's steaming pile of a patch (1/10th yesterday's xp) you will never get a jedi to fight you again.

500k loss would now be what, 2-3 days to get back.

HA!

The whole private house hiding is stupid - whether for Jedi/BH, SF faction members, or other combat situations. Give Smugglers the ability to slice open doors of private structures, which makes them public for 5 min.

Which letter of the word private has escaped your understanding?

The devs will never -- that is to say NOT EVER -- allow another player to"hack", "slice" or "blow the doors off" another player's private structure. The potential abuse and exploiting of this is beyond the pale of allowable behavior. Next thing, you'll want the ability slice into their bank account and safety deposit box to steal all their credits, pearls, crystals and other shiny trinkets. And after that, you'll want to be able to loot their corpse after you've DB'd them.

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Get over it. Move on.

I'm personally surprised that Jedi aren't allowed to carry a house with them, and place it instantly without restriction - that way they'd always have a house to hide in.

What most jedi fail to remember is that they got a "safe place" the second they became padawans. They get alts. The Devs have stated that the alt is there so a jedi is not forced to PvP 24/7.

In my opinion a jedi toon should be logged out the second he enters a private building. Most jedi that sit in their houses only do so to piss off the BHs that come after them.

Uh huh. So a Jedi is supposed to stand around at a public crafting station outside some startport to craft a saber? Or conduct plans for guild activities? Hmmm?

Most Jedi that go into a private structure do so because they don't want, or aren't able, tofight. The attitude of some players that think a Jedi should just stand there and be killed so that some whiny little punk-a$$ed l337 monkey BH can get their jollies is absolutely disgusting.

Hate MacArthur all you want. No matter what you may think of him, that doesn't detract from the validity of the quote in my signature.

I'm not particularly a "MacArthur Fan", but the historical fact is that he was ordered out of the Phillipines by Franklin Delano May-He-Burn-in-Hell-For-All-Eternity Roosevelt.

I wasn't challenging the validity of the statement......just stating in my post that I don't like MacAurthur........I've spent 8 years in the military......he abandoned his troops......regardless of who ordered him............in WW2.......troops and officers alike disobeyed orders. I guess the guilt of leaving all his troops to die probably served him right anyway.

Funny that you should say that... have you READ your sig? So much for the "predominance of courage over timidity"...

Jedi should be brave. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering... the path to the Dark Side, this is.

If the Jedi is going to "stand there and be killed" he's not fit to be a Jedi, that's the whole point. The weak should be culled from the herd - this will actually make the herd stronger. But cowards don't understand that. If you're going to hide every time there's a risk, why play? The safest thing to do would be to log off for good and go play solitaire.

Of course I've read the sig.

There's a big difference between courage and foolhardiness. Attempting to take on a CL80 BH maxed out on buffs, armor, stims, CM healsand weapons that deal 2 to 3 times the damage as mine isn't courageous, it's stupid. Courage, yes, but intelligence, too.

Would you prefer a quote from Sun-Tzu?

And rest assured, boyo, when I'm ready to actually fight I will be fighting. I'll probably lose a lot, being the PvP newbie I am, but maybe not. And eventually I'll learn. Until then, I'm not going to get pummelled for no reason ("reason" as in, rational thought).

Jedi are players too... just thought I should add that. Seems lots of these new BH's forget or dont care of that fact.
