This profession should be about more than the kill of the mark. I know that the l337 kiddies on both sides of the BH/Jedi war LOATHE RP, but hey, if you want to be Boba Fett, you should have to do the less fun for the bloodthirsty stuff of putting the pieces together to find your quarry.








I'm glad I'm not the only one that wants the Hunt to be more immersive and require more effort.

I'm definatly going for solutions "A". First and formost i hate shoping for new equipment all the time so what we would earn in extra credits would also be more time shopping for equipment. If the only reason to fight these marks is higher payout and not better loot then whats the point? How many poor bounty hunters are there? I know that right now i consider myself to be broke with 5 mil in my bank. To other professions this is a small fortune. I got one of these marks last night. The first one i had got was a couple days ago and it was one long but fun fight. Last night this one sent me to the cloner twice before I had some guildies come out to heal me. The mark was using an ALR and had godly damage. I was wearing 7100 eng recon armor with a 2200 eng PSG runing duelist and was still getting hit for over 600hp a hit. My rifle is a capped ALR with a mod speed of 1.2 and SAC pup'd to 59. My template is MBH MR Med 4040 and have both healing eff and Augmentaion eff capped with attachments. Since Patch 24 came out I have solo'd Black Suns and 2 Dark Jedi Adepts and this bounty was by far much harder. After splitting the bounty with my guildies and only looting a booster core I was ticked. My PSG is now at 0 condition and lost 5k condition off the armor i had just purchased 2 nights ago. Either make the loot worth the trouble or there is no point. Credits matter nothing to the rich.

Then the Devs could let SpyNet ops be placeable in a PC, with a distance requirement of 120 meters from the nearest BH Terminal. Or use a suggestion from above to make the Informants an intermediate step instead of the last step before the droids get launched.

That's true as well, and probably easier to implement - either way should have the same result. I personally don't care which form this takes, but I applaud any effort to improve participation within player cities and encourage any attempt to fulfill the activities within these locales, regardless. It's a good idea, and I wouldn't want to be the one to squash it.

the only mobs that should have high health and action regen rates are raid mobs. mobs that take 2 groups to take down. not some mob that is supposed to be soloable by any template.


having npcs that takes 2 people or a fotm template to kill is not good.


as i said leave the high regen to raid and group mobs not the solo bh. a challange yes but solable for any bh template not just for those who go to the fotm or have to have these only type of skills to do them. which is the healing prof.

Some people can't take the Bosses. Therefore I'd like to give them the option to avoid them by going for the lower paying elites

If we hide the payout, we'd basically have the exact same situation as now

So what your solution is, have elite marks on the terms as is and have boss marks on the terms and have increased pay and let people know that they are selecting a boss mark mission

Not as of yet. Regardless of whether it is intended or bugged, the majority of hunters seem to be voicing that Type 3 is too difficult to take down. As a correspondent, it's my responsibility to tell the Devs what the players want (within reason)

Hmm, interesting idea


It always amused me to see mayors being so proud of placing BH terms when cities first came out (and BH was a rarer profession). Always had to inform them that a hunter would still need to shuttle to a different city to grab the Bio Sig


I'll have to keep this in mind in case mine doesn't go thru

A 250 SP profession only has a CL of 80


Bosses are CL 82


Therefore it cannot be assumed that a CL 82 NPC should have the same restriction as 250 pt profession


On a related note, do you use Duelist stance? I do and with armor I don't think the damage output of bosses is un-manageable
