Strange that nobody suggested 0010 yet. Burst Shot 1 might not have fancy stats to it, but for me (just working myself up as carbineer) it seems to be a very nice way to hit and hurt the target while not depleting my HAM-bar too much.

thats the one i was kinda looking at, but i wanted feed back from the masters before i picked the wrong one. that and it has mitigation 1 also which could be helpfull.

Well if you are one of the rare people that fight without buffs or food or drink or stims, then BurstShot1 is ok......

Mitigation 1 won't help one bit in PvE, it is only a factor in PvP.

And honestly, I would use LegShot2 as much or more than BurstShot1

Just before you decide wrongly just due my statement... i am far from master, never was yet. And due to being really new, i rarely got buffs so HAM matters for me.

Im in the same boat as you. In the 4 months I have been playing....gawd has it been that long, seemsa lot less than that.AnywayI have bought maybe 6-10 buffsand most of those have been with guild events. i dont get to play a lot due to the fact i got wife and 2 kids under 3, waiting in line for x amount of time for a buff isnt an option when i get 2-3 hour on average a night to play.

I haven't been on this game for a while, and the combat balance certainly seemed to change a lot. But when I to do carbine it was the profession of status effectors. I was wondering if carbineer can still calim this? It didn't mention anything on the skill descriptions, but that didn't always tell everything. So I was just wondering if this ranged profession still has this...thanks.

I wouldn't say that there is any single status effector class any more.

With snare and knockdown we still have a little in our sortiment, but not so much... damage output is where we shine by now...
