Mace, Obi-wan, & Anakinweren00blets too. The only real tough dogs were Yoda and the Emperor who only let mace win to trap that n00blet anakan. All player j3di should be worse than any other n00blet j3di, so in my opinion they are still too overpowered.

So to sum up.

George Lucas story already bastardized and watered down due to too many Jedi.

SOE should delete all player j3di.

You are not Anakin, Obi Wan, Yoda or Mace Windu they were the "godlike" Jedi, the average Jedi was quite mortal and DID die at the hands of clones and droids.

These n00blets don't even deserve to be called j3di.

You were not trained from birth by Yoda you were trained by some second rate not on the Jedi council Jedi a few months ago.

I wouldn't even call it trained, they exploited their way.

PLUS no game should have an alpha profession and especially shouldn't have thousands upon thousands of this alpha class.

Now here i'll say youre wrong, j3dishouldn't be in the game at all, so its just a screwup not an alpha class. BH is the real alpha and should stay that way because BH > ALL.

/bump agree. It is too easy to be a jedi....and then they cry when they get slaughtered by us. I'm sure that the clones were not uber-hunters who spent all of their lives fighting.....and this is not a console game.

Actually, no... Go read the books, watch the Movie. Jedi existed in this time period. That is WHY Obi Wan and Yoda disabled the 'beacon' calling in all Jedi back to the template so they wouldn't be slaughtered.

Not all Jedi returned, hence why there were potentially 1,000s of Jedi still dispersed throughout the galaxy on missions, and went into hiding. But they still existed.

The point of Luke Skywalker is that he was not the Last Jedi, but the only Jedi that had the power to defeat Vader and the Empire. This is what make Luke specail, not because he was the 'last Jedi'... (Ironicaly, it was through love(his father's)he defeated the Empire, and not his power as a Jedi.

I get tired of BHs saying Jedi should not exist in the time frame. I do agree they shouldn't be as visible, and like some of the ideas that if they gain TOO much visibility, Vader sends a team, or he himself shows up to DB the Jedi are kind of cool. If a Jedi is sitting at a starport flashing his saber with arrogance, he should be taken out...

(If you want to respect the movies and stories, BH actually were NOT to hunt Jedi. Vader DID NOT use the to hunt Jedi, the only Jedi that BH's HUNTED, where bounties that were placed on them like other people as well. Boba was working for Jabba on a personal grudge and mission, not for the empire, as BHs were usually not capable of hunting down Jedi, only the ELITE BH Boba was able to take a missions of such magnitude, and even then, he nor Jabba realized Luke was a Jedi...

Just quit HATING jedi... This is the most ridiculous thing in the world. There are IDIOIT JEDI in the game that I agree should die, but not all of the them have thie arrogance and some are just regular players that are good to others and not in the game for just themselves. There are also idiot swordsman and idiot BHs - don't paint any profession by the arrogance of players.

I became a Jedi not for PVP, not to be ABOVE anyone, but to have a powerful template (yes the super hero complex) so that I could help others in the game -not so I could kill others. Asa Jedi if someone bows to me because I am Jedi, and quick to mention that is not how it should be. As a Jedi I am here to help, I am a powerful servant to the people that are bowing to me, it should be the other way around, and I bow to them. (Although being powerful is not something a Jedi is now.)

As I said, I play both sides, and on my Jedi, I make more friends with BHs than not, in fact I only have one BH that I have ever fought that ended in the BH being angry and not becoming a friend. That is a pretty good track record. I also don't sit around goating BHs or act like a 12yr old either, I respec BHs when on my Jedi, just like I give Jedi respect when on my BH.

This IS a game, and the hate and anger than is generated is scary sometimes.

And I will restate what I said, Jedi are not 'godmode', and at this point are not even a good template choice. I would rather go out with a TKM-DOC friend of mine that can out tank most MD Jedi. Now at least pre-cu, Jedi were not godmode either, but were a 'bit' more powerful than everyone else, enough that all the work that went into Jedi was realized when the template was finished.

And even if you hate Jedi, this is NOT how it should be. Even in this timeline.. If you have access to the force, you should be able to do things others can't. No matter who trained you.And right now, this isn't true with all the Nerfs.

Don't get my intention wrong, I'm not sayiing kiss Jedi butt, or not take out the Jedi, as that is what BHs do in the GAME, but don't be arrogant yourself, and realize a bit more about the profession you are fighting. If you don't have access to a Jedi, go look up their current skill trees and abilities, many BHs are shocked of what Jedi can't do... Especially old BHs that knew pre-cu Jedi.

That's episode 3 this is episode 4.5. In Episode 5 Obi says Luke is the last hope and then Yoda refers to another that not being the 1000s of Jedi roaming the galaxy, he is referring to Leia. If that was not the case he would not have said that.

They may not have all died in Episode 3 but they did die between 3 and 4.

The bounty hunters WERE hired to catch Luke Skywalker. The whole no disintegrations thing was because they wanted LUKE alive to bring to the emperor. Those bounty hunters were after LUKE who was training to be a JEDI.

Yoda also said that when he died Luke would be the last of the Jedi.

So it doesn't matter who trained you or for how long? How can you even say that? Both Luke and Anakin were told to be too old to be trained. You are saying training is not important to a Jedi? Then why did they have them trained from birth? Why did Master Yoda oversee their training if it didn't matter? You are basically saying that your Jedi trained at most 2 years ago by some no name backwater Jedi should be as powerful as a Jedi that was trained their whole life by Yoda? Face it these Jedi are handmedown second rate Jedi andbetween afk grinding, respec manipulation, ebay,arrogant attitude, excessisve numbersand double xp they deserve to be a regular double elite with a flashy weapon because face it either you wanted to be a Jedi and now you are or you didn't so you aren't.

What defines Overpowered. Seems somewhere around page 2.5 there was a post saying jedi were never overpowered, because they could be saber teffed and killed by a whole gank squad.

But thats the thing, it would take a whole gank squad to kill 1.

Saying that "even non master jedi could block 100% of incoming shots" so 85% preCU wasnt overpowered is rediculous. Put 85% instant mitigation + 80% damage mitigation (comp armor ftw) + master defender passive mods and jedi were almost impossible to damage.

There is a difference between "UNKILLABLE!!!!1!11!!one!11" and "over powered" and for a long time in this game, jedi were over powered.

I conceed that NOW jedi are underpowered, but i hate people who say jedi "have never been overpowered"

Crunch, Obviously you have NO idea what you are talking about. Back when Jedi had armor, I killed them solo, back when Jedi blocked 85% of our shots, i killed them as a ranged hunter SOLO. Back when all these things you say needed balancing, I KILLED THEM SOLO(and as a Ranged BH)

I do agree that jedi should have a lot more penalties(not permadeath, sorry, game is too buggy for that) but at the same time Jedi should be able to take on 5 people at the same time. I think that they should put names back on the terminals(or allow BH to grab the same mission) but at the same time give jedi back the power that they should have, and implement a skill loss system again, so that if jedi go below 0 experience, they start loosing skills instead of Exp.

I know rational explinations make no sense to you, and you're going to flame me for being a jedi, but am a BH first, and a Jedi Second. Come see me on wanderhome, you can even see the BH badge, which i ground out back when 3/4 marks were bugged.

actually, the clone troopers were Soldiers who spent all their lives training and fighting. And it took a bunch of them to take on a single jedi padawan.

I'm sorry, but none of these arguments hold up, the only one that does is that there are so many jedi in this game, but let's face it this game just wouldn't be star wars if there weren't a few jedi around. I think jedi should be so hard that many would give up, I'd say 1/2 of all the full template jedi out there are probably ebay'd, and if it makes you feel any better, that means you've killed 1/2 of all the jedi. If they took away all ebay jedi accounts, a bunch of jedi would be gone.... not to mention 1/2 the BH population, but we won't get into that hehe.
