Great!
I don't understand...people are telling about their Jedi kills, and I haven't had one Jedi mission work right. I am never able to target them when I find them.
Are they ever going to fix that?

Good work myfriend. Id get used to the hate tells though, a lot of jedi get a little pissy when you ruin their image of ubarness.

Well done.
Any jedi standing in line unbuffed at a starport deserves to die. That is just stupid.

Next time get a barker droid that has bombs on it and have it follow the jedi and say "I'M COMING AFTER YOU!" You'll have a good laugh and maybe a good kill
BTW nice kill with the bomb droid. Remember, when your a BH, its smarts that win, not power.

I turned Master Bounty Hunter a couple of days ago and decided that it was time I tried my hand at hunting Jedi. I tried some of the higher payout missions but got my backside kicked all over Yavin IV because my mark was in the Geo caves (no surprises) and hadn't travelled all that way to not even try. I decided to take one of the 100k missions, my Arakyd said he was online and grinding (presumably) on Dantooine.I went to Coronet and got some buffs and took a flight to the Imperial Outpost, he was only 1000m away from the starport ao I let my seeker go from behind the buildings in case anyone was watching. I got my armour on, ate Synthsteak, two brandies and a canape and put my powerups on my Laser Carbine and on my Scatter Pistol and headed out.
After a minute I saw some numbers flying through the air and then saw "The server is about to shut down", I had to do this quickly. I thought he had seen me so, cursing myself, drove past in the direction of the nearest lair and pretended to be on a mission. After I cleared the lair I pretended to head back to the Starport, checking him out as I went past. He was in a small group; him and a Master Doctor. I only had 10 minutes left so I moved in for the kill, hitting the Jedi with state attacks which started to stick nicely. I then hit spray shot a few times, only to see his Doctor buddy healing him as I did so. I got a tef on the Doctor at this point so I took out both of their bikes and turned to the my attention to the Doc. I stuck him with dizzies, confusion and the usual but he kept healing himself while incapped before I could deathblow him. His mind stayed low so I switched to my Scatter Pistol and hit him with Eyeshot until he went down again, then moved in an deathblowed him.
As I checked my radar the Jedi was making a run for it just as the server was in the last minute of uptime. I switched back to my Laser Carbine and put the states back onto him, it took a while but they stuck after a few shots. I switched back to Eye Shot from my Scatter Pistol and he went down because he didn't have entertainer buffs (nor did I but I had him on the run and he wasn't hitting me). I deathblowed him and took my reward. Everybody fought with honour and there was no griefing involved (will see when the server comes back up though
) There was no hiding in water, not that there was any around and no hiding in houses.
I'm really pleased with myself, I soloed them both and didn't take a gank squad (I will only fight solo). Now I have to work on finishing my Carbineer tree so I can take some higher level missions.

Well, job well done.. And good timing when it came to the server shutdown! lol
You should be happy, but going for a Doc i would recommend using your Pistol and /eyeShoting him to death and hope he isnt Combat Medic as well
Anyway, keep up the good work.. I would recommend solo hunting missions between 100-150k, if you take missions over this amount of money you will need to be as silent and stealthy as i have learned to be after many, many moths Bounty Hunting.. Cause when fishing the BIG ones you need everything to be perfect and when they first bite you need to know what to do!

Server shutdown, I kind of have a love/hate thing for it. Because I am from England but on Eclipse (US sever) the time difference means that if I'm off work and decide to play I lose time for a copule of hours. I love it more though to be honest with you, I reckon Jedi think it's safer to hunt at this time because the server population is going to be pretty low
Anyway, I dealt the deathblow with 10 seconds to spare

Congrats bud, I'm just 2 1/4 boxes from hunting Jedi, I can't wait to join. Nice job on catching him before the time ran out

What level? No idea. He was a 115k mission so probably pretty low.

I finished my current template about 2 weeks ago and have been periodically taking Jedi missions. They've either logged off, hid in their houses, or been bugged. But tonight things were different. I was about to log for the evening when I saw a Jedi Padawan in Coronet just milling around. I headed to the terms and sure enough found them, listed for a nice 216k. By the time I found him again he was in the cantina just listening to some tunes. I feel bad, but I caught him with his pants down and that's what we BH do sometimes. Two TKM hits and he incapped. One more hit to death blow and earn my reward then I split. I know they're not all this easy, but this did make me realize that being a BH is what it's all about.

Yeah TKM, TKM, TKM...
But nice that you got a pretty high level one.
