Thread: Drive on through nothing to see here.
If you knew anything about the droid, it wouldn't of. It was not destroyed, it was knocked down. The bug isn't it being destroyed and still firing, it's the animation that's bugged. You know it down, and it plays the animation of falling apart, but it bugs out and keeps that animation except when firing. I saw atleast 3 posts about this, and if any ofyou took the 3 seconds it takes to look at the droids health....

you ask why i do it? well first ... jedi hunting isnt the single thing i want to do .. i have no problem taking a break from hunting jedi and enjoying some PVE or roleplaying .. no one says just cuz im a BH i should judge my proffessions worth as to how many jedi i can kill ..
second? i refuse to go jedi because i would like to keep the NON-JEDI proffessions alive ... i want variety ... even if that means two over-represented proffessions as opposed to one ..
i practice what i preach and no matter how much i may lose or win .. i will do what i feel is right ... and perhaps if jedi were rarer and more RP oriented id be one .. but as it stands i see most new players jumping right into the jedi grind as fast as they can and ignore the other proffessions as a viable entity for their main toon ... i disagree with this .. and will follow my belief in showing by example .. i will stick it out in this game as a non-jedi for as long as i can ... and continue to love the game while im at it ... i dont need to be "elite" to enjoy myself .. i dont need to be a jedi to feel confident ..
i want to soak up the game with the heart of a RPG'er and will try to be the best i can be no matter what proffession i choose

Since it was HIS droid & he said it was destroyed...i assumed he knew what he was talking about. Guess i was wrong.

The fact you have a suit that's worth over 150 million says it all to me. I've been playing this game for 2 years and I've not come close to that level of cash flow, and incase you dont know, there are no decent pearls.
You got your 'I win' template and you dont want to lose it. That's fair enough, but my argument is simple and has remained the same since MBH/MCM became the FOTM. If you want to own every Jedi you meet with your insane equipment then obtaining your template should take the same amount of time as it takes to become a full template padanoob. I grined my alt to MBH in less than two weeks.
So you got rich making your money from all the uber skill tapes you 'easily' obtained from your 'easy' 3 shot kill NPC marks. Good on ya. Why should a Jedi who's been at his template for about a year HAVE to go and play the game day in day out in order to make millions of credits just to be able to stand a chance against a BH who grinded his template in a fotnight?

.. go read my posts in the trade forums and see exactly what i sold to make the money i have in order to buy that suit ... im a dragon hunter ..always was always will be i hunt dragons even more than i hunt jedi ....
if you dont want to spend money to cap your toon fine but dont ask for nerfs cuz you are too lazy to play your proffession and equip yourself the way you should
and yes there are decent pearls.. if you bothered to ever use the forums for CONSTRUCTIVE purposes you would have come across threads explaining that good pearls can tune just as well as premiums they just have a much lower % of turning out that way .. but with a committed attitude .. you should be able to go through enough pearls to where you can construct a saber that is VERY good ..i know ive sold hundreds of pearls and i have feedback first hand ...
you could have hunted dragons pre CU like the otherjedi ... you were here pRE CU .. you could have saved up and bought premiums before they were 20 to 30 mill a pop and you can STILL save money and buy em .. and ADK your saber .. so dont give me that " ooh i cant make money and im poor BS" .. not only that you can make a Damned BH from your alternate... you said you grinded one in two weeks .. so you already have one .. use him and go make your money ...
as for MCM/BH template of the month being " i win" thats BS .. read the thread i LINked and tell me that jedi need more power when they are winning 80% of their fights ...
no i didnt make my money with NPC missions .. never much liked em .. do some research and learn about someone before you start accusing them of something

Then watch his Squirm till he can attack me but by then I am over the short didtance that they can saber throw if they have it.So it turns into an endourance contest or they run off , but since I can heal alot faster than they can I can usually win at that.
I think I agree with an earlier poster , that maybe the paralize should break upon ANY other attack or De-Buff , and use it to heal if needed or run like Stasis is supposed to do.

so why dont you buy a droid too? or buy a tough non CH pet? and have em out watching your back at all times .. anything he does you can do too ...

At the end of the day i think a lot of it boils down to experience, tactics and skill. I have been a MBH/MCM/Carb x4xx for a while now - it could be said i am one of those "respec" chappies if the truth be known, and there in lies the answer. I have tried to kill Jedi, many a time, and failed. I have the money to buy "uber" weapons and armour, but they dont tend to help me. I have not yet won one fight against a jedi, the reason being im hopeless! yes, i lack the skills and tactics required to complete the job, however i am getting better. Every time i lose i learn a lesson, and i beleive its the same for a jedi. Maybe the chap in the video was as new to jedi as i am to BH, and if it were me and him then he might have won. But against a BH of the OP experience, he stood no chance.
Prior to CU/respec, i was a melee man, def stacked to the hilt, TKM, Fencer etc, and i had agood reputation in my guild as a great PvP'er, since i had been this template since almost day one of the Euro server, and i had learnt my craft, learnt the little tricks, the best food, the best weapons etc.
So, it might take me a year to perfect BH, so be it, its what keeps me trying, to gain the experience and get better.
So, in conclusion, i think the one thing that is not being taken into account in this debate is the matter of experience and skill in a PvP fight. For each case of an expierenced BH taking out a less experienced Jedi, there is the case like me, the noob being taken out by the expert.

i apologize if my opinions come off as being presented too strongly .. im just annoyed at the constant sight of people asking for nerfs to the game ( 90% are jedi) when there is so much else to be done..
i cant even browse through the CM forums or BH for valuable info without coming across some jedi calling for a proffession whether it be another jedi template or a non jedi proffession to be nerfed .. its laughable

ROFL. You have an answer for everything dont you. Becuase having a droid out all the time is practical right? But of course, you dont care about that.
Moving on.
Even my MBH/CM friends on Farstar admit the template is overpowered considering how easy it is to obtain in comparison to Jedi. What ever happened to the 1.5% stronger BS lol. History. But here we have BH assuming they should be on a par with a Jedi toe to toe.
The only people who WONT admit that the MBH/CM is overpowered are MBH/CM. Your nerf is coming wheter you like it or not becuase everyone but you accepts it's too powerful, and a player should not have to spend trillions on equipement in order to be able to equal another profession in combat.
I have a JK friends and MBH/MCM friends. They can kick the JK ass. Sure the fight is always lengthy, but the outcome is always the same. Wear Jedi mind down and the rest is history. I dont give a rats ass how many BH come one and rant about how we should learn our template, the fact is, I invested WAY more time in reaching my template than ANY BH ever did, and being so underpowered to a specific template is a joke. I wouldnt even mind a fair fight, but at the moment it goes one way always to these guys.
Well no point arguing about it. As I said, a nerf to this profession is only a matter of time.
