I dont PvP much and only hunt Jedi on the odd occasion, hence ive gone for a good strong PvE Template:

This gives me great Speed, defense and accuracy and also two very powerful shots- Crit/Leg
I have a good 2minute snare for hard melee NPCs such as Dark Jedi Masters and Necrosis.
I have +25 in Healing efficiency tapes and an extra 18 0r 40 in food/drink so i can heal for over 1100 when things dont quite go to plan ![]()
From my experiance i think this is a very good all round PvE Template.

Yeah, I know, I'm nuts for running around hunting Jedi without med skills. /shrug I like a challenge and I love this template. Very well balanced, great offense (+359 Accuracy with a Rifle, that's with AAs and CAs). My ranged defnese is +315 (without foods). I can stand toe to toe with a Jedi for as long as my Ruby Beil lasts, although I don't reccommend this approach. PVE is a blast with this template, there's not much out there that I can't solo if I need to, in a group I am absolutely deadly in PVE or PVP. My one wish was that my weapon's accuracy was put into play. The accuracy on my Trando Rifle is +66, would be nice if this actually meant something, right now it has no effect that I have noticed. (it should really be a to hit bonus so when going against MDEFs, you have a better shot of landing your initial attacks). I love having the ability to "sneak" around and not be seen until I want to be seen or until the game spawns a critter ontop of me LOL. You really get the feel of being a sniper with this, which is a lot of fun
Curious to know how such a dabblers template would stack up - it's also CL 80 btw. =)

My temp is M Bounty Hunter,M Carbineer, Squad Leader xxx4, Medic xx2x(I use HE clothes, citrus snow, and a 110 med droid to keep bacta shot over 1.5k. I also use Stim D and Ruby B.)
I can't wait to try the new stuff rolling around in Pub 24 for SL. I know there is a cooldown reduction and crit enhancement in SL xxx4. Aka tailor made for me. I always group with the med droid, probot, or my dewback when solo.

Has anyone tried a MBH Melee template??
I'm thinking about trying MBH/MTKA/Commando 4XXX...anyone have any thoughts on this
