First off, I'm not saying this to start trouble at all, its just what I have observed in my time here.
People have been saying the game is dying since the first change was made oh so long ago. It hasn't died yet and I don't expect it even start down that path untill the day SWG 2 is released.

This game was the most fun the first 4 weeks after release. I had an absolute blast playing then. The devs have since systematically removed every iota of fun from the game and broken pretty much every promise and/or contradicted every vision of the initial game design.
It's ubelieveable that they've systematically taken every profession in the game and nerf nerf nerfe'd them into oblivion. I remember the first few weeks thinking how absolutely cool the Creature Handler profession was... wow... to be able to tame *ANY* critter in the game (that didn't eat you first).... spending hours and hours hunting for that rare baby on some dangerous planet and taming it! That's just one example, but all professions have lists that culminate in neutered, watered down versions of what the professions were supposed to be.
The dynamic interdependencethat existed between classes has nearly completely vanished.
The worst part was the horrible systems engineering (if any at all) that takes place at SOE. The number of contradictory gameplay mechanics is appalling (i.e. Player Citiesdiminished the need for scout/ranger camps... which comprise a whole freaking skill tree). After 2 years the loot system is still a shambles, the combat professions were balanced by making them all equally worthless, and SEA's STILL aren't fixed!
and yes I cancelled (again) today. And no you can't have my stuff. I placed all 10 lots on all 6 toons on 5 accounts in hopes they'll all be condemned and declared a ghetto.
EDIT: on second thought.... I'm going to log in right now and replace all those houses and spell out F U. yeah.

The game aint dying but it has been stagnent since mid 2004.
This game has a great core concept, it's just that only 5% of that core concept recieves the attention of the developers making other great but bugged concepts suffer![]()
Maybe they need to make a bunch of Dev sub teams that cover all concepts in this game, I don't know I don't work there.
