I have the 4000 Defender and i can say that it is quite helpful. Therefore if you combine that with intimidate then I'd say you will do just fine. The only problem i heard might be that Intimidate takes up quite a bit of force.

4004 Defender Analysis (from a jedi knight)


PVE - Dominating. 10 out of 10. Impress fellow jedi by being able to take on things they wouldn't dream about trying. Bunch of us were in the geo merc room, and a spawn of like 25 bugs was close. No jedi would even try to pull them over to the merc room, one tried and died almost instantly. Not only did I go over there and live, I killed them all (granted I am master saber too, but anything I didn't block had about 0 damage).


PVP - Non Jedi - Dominating. 9.5 out of 10. Melee stackers drop with ease as long as you can heal intimidate. Ranged classes are NEVER an issue with master saber (block enough). The jedi toughness in 4004 is extremely noticable. The STATE defenses in the xxx4 line are about par. I can tell a difference, but its not dominating. I still get intimidated by Enhanced Kwi's etc, but it is much less often. Not sure about state defenses in PVP, I kill too fast


PVP - Jedi - 6 out of 10. State defenses help against Jedi with Force Intimidate, other than that Jedi don't mess with states (just try to kill ya). Melee defense is very helpful. I've done tests. I had one Jedi attack me a few hundred times, and attack another jedi with NO melee defense, and I took 40% less damage over time (was hit 40% less).

what about this

Master LS

Heal 3-0-0-4

Defence 4-0-0-4

Enhance 4-0-0-2

Max force power 6250

state defence +50

melee defence +90

jedi toughness +21

Lightsaber toughness +55

Lightsaber block +85

Regen +63

Ranged defence +35

Force defence +20

I am tempted but no to sure as your template looks quite good on paper too but i am a bit worried about that lack of state defences.

Also i would like to know how often Intimidate 2 sticks if you have the state defences from defender.

Your weakness will be FIRE


And you will end up dropping this spec pretty quick after you figure that out

Powers 0040 is powerful against non jedi, but against most jedi, youll be waisting force power if you intimidate them, because most jedi have healing 3(4)004 so they will spend less force curing intimidate. Guess it all matters on what you want to do with your jedi. You could just drop powers and get novice brawler But I like your template better then the one with powers. Im not sure yet. But I think I would go for your template then one with powers in it.

The only problem I see with that is the fact that 500 point heals at 4 second intervals just doesn't cut it in most situations.

I have 4004 defender, and I absolutely LOVE it


The toughness is awesome vs Non Jedi and PVE, and the melee defense doesn make a big difference vs Jedi. I get hit about 40% less often with 90 melee def compared to jedi with 0.

Intimidate 2 costs 500 force. So says the Jedi FAQ. Great skill... 16M radius. But it's too costly for something that a FOTM doc will just laugh at. Respect.

i am NOT taking the entire freaking healing tree to cure one dot, ill just find a lake


edit: if u got a template that has NO weaknesses please share it with the rest of us.

who u talking to? ill have heal all self 2.
