Thread: What will you do when all the jedi quit?

What will we do if all the Jedi quit, or are removed from the game?
We'll move on to complaining about other classes. Just like we did against Creature Handlers. Like we did about Commandos. Like we did about TKA abilities..
The problem with the new people playing the game is that they don't KNOW what the playerbase whining and complaining had done to this game prior to their arrival. As Veterans who SAW all that has happened every time a group whines, we should know better.
But by all means, let's get SOE to eliminate Jedi. Then we can move on, and get every Melee class eliminated, because Hey... When did we see them in Star Wars? They don't belong either!!!
And after that, let's make sure nobody can ever get Master Rifles, Master Doctor and 0030 Pistols - After all, a Rifleman could Root you outside Carbine and Pistol range, and when you DO get loose, their Rifle specials would have out-damaged your ability to heal... Can't have that, it's "unbalancing".
If you are laughing at your keyboard now, or thinking "Gee, it would never happen".. Look to the history of this game.
Every "fix" to this game has made it worse, not better. Every "Balance" has skewed the system away from one perceived imbalance to a new one. Every attempt to change the original code merely makes this game more and more unplayable.
Think I'm wrong?

Good luck with that. Easily 50% of theJedi I know have more than one account.
They're not likely to keep their alt accounts if they quit because of SOE's changes to Jedi.
If there's OMG SO MANY Jedi in the game, that's a substantial financial loss for SW:G.
Stupid arguement anyway. Jedi aren't going anywhere.

Let me list the ways...
1) Enjoy the GCW as it was and should be.
Back when you were complaining about MCH's? or when eyeshot ruled the galaxy? maybe when mr/mcm was "destroying PvP"? thats a bs argument, the same people whining about the GCW will never PvP because there will always be a FOTM for them to complain about.
2) Get about 90% of my PA that quit out of frustration because of Jedi, back in the game.
I dont know anyone who quit because of Jedi, lots quit because of broken game mechanics, unable to beat stackers with fire's that doc's couldnt put out, or left because CM's could hit a group with 1200 per tic mind poisons that you had to have a group of doc's to counter...etc, they are whiners who would have left regardless.
3) Be able to read the BH boards without a bunch of whiney, spoon-fed Trolls.
They are going to remove the BH's from the BH boards?..lol, j/k's. to much whining from all sides as tends to happen in any PvP conflict.
4) Enjoy the immersion of the Timeline that the game is supposed to be taking place in.
/agree this was a stupid timeframe to introduce jedi into, should have progressed the game until they fit if they were going to bring them in. You must love Rebs holding the GCW planets most of the time? or Imp's being outnumbered on every server(as of the last astromech data i could find).
5) Possibly think it was cool to see a Jedi knowing they are RARE.
You will always hate it that someone has a better FOTM than you do....OH WAIT, that will be BH's of course.
6) Have some serious fun hunting Smugglers...who I give much respect for.
Never happen. You see the hate towards your current prey dont you? Do you think anyone would willingly sign up for that? you will become a pve prof, with NPC content to avoid this ever happening again.
7) Rejoice in knowing I never have to go back to Kashyyyk.
Try going there for the content, you may enjoy it more than being frustrated chasing LOS/AFK jedi there.
8) Talk about how great it is there are no more Jedi
and whine about having no one else to hunt
9) Maybe be able to loot a SAE without seeing a dozen Jedi camping the spawns.
You need to go shopping, EVERYONE out damages my jedi. Doctor/be can outdamage me with a descent laser rifle for crying out loud.
10) Reminisce about how bad it sucked back when there where Jedi.
Once the next FOTM hits(BH/CM) its going to suck just as badly, but you will be the alpha class, so that will be okay i guess.
11) Maybe get in a group where someone forgets their super powers aggro half the planet.
Like areaheal???
12) Might just /dance spontaniously for no reason out of sheer glee

Jabba's guards had somenovice pikemen, but they got pwnd by a master smuggler and half templatedjedi. Oh and a master BH was also PWND.

one of the more interesting things is, Bh's in SWG was not as abundant as they are in this game. you guys complain about there being so many jedi well, there also shouldn't be this many bh's.
Bh should be about risk vs reward just like jedi, when you die you should lose somthing, thats the risk of losing or failing your bounty. This is the way it was ment to be. You guys probably don't agree tho i mean really? who wants to have the same risks as a jedi? just wondering what you guys think, i'm not trying to troll you guys or anything. i just feel kinda bad.
Yesterday a bh came to the trials looking for help with her mission where she's suppost to get a radio from a camp in there. Me and half my group was like.. "no, this is a trap, i'm not helping that bh with crap" normally i'm a nice guy and am willing to help just about everyone with missions and quests and the like, but i felt so unease and so much hatred towards that person just becouse i saw a scatter pistol in her hand. Is this what the dev's intended? Earlier i had just gotten back from - 300k exp and grinded back up to 0. A bh found me and kicked me right back to -300k exp. SOE this isn't fun, it's an annoyance.. What does the bh have to lose? sigh i don't expect you guys to understand, all you guys are probably gona do is flame me for being a weak padawan, a padawan who is gona be even weaker when publish 19 comes out sadly.. i can't keep up with bh damage as it is.. and i'm at the point where i'm droping normal elite skills.

Seriously though, tell ya what. I'll go for the same negative that Jedi get. If i fail your mission as master then I loose say 20k BH XP. Which takes me longer to get then it takes you to get 200k of Jedi XP. But the same rules apply, let me gomillions in debt so it doesn't matter how many times I die at master.
Coarse, it wouldn't change the current system. We'd still have too many Jedi and no way to get rid of a single one.
What will I do?
Jump for joy and do NPC bounties....and enjoy a very bugged game...that will get better and better because all the programmers and developers can focus finally on non-Jedi. Because without Jedi, at least non-Jedi will rule the servers again! Simple.
