For instances like this SOE needs to implement a new profession:Lawyer. If a BH is found going back on a verbal contract, then he could be summoned to a court of law in Theed where his case will be presented to another new profession: Master Judge. Here the judge will weigh the evidence supplied by both sides and make a decision.

We could all just say that Jedi should not offer payouts for reasons like this, and pass off this particular incident as undeniable gullibility on part of the Jedi. It's not the BHs problem if the guy believes everything that is told to him.

BTW, I do not support that tactic, I just think that anyone who blindly trusts another person ingame is making a huge mistake.

If a jedi pays you off without you asking for it. take the money and kill him anyways. If you ask for payoff or agree to drop the mission with payoff, keep your word and drop the mission.

Three nights ago I pulled a low level paddy. I attacked him and he ran. we sent friendly tells back and forth for about an hour, then out of nowhere he tipps me 200k and says that's more than what he's worth. Since I didn't ask for pay off I didn't drop the mission. However, he was a nice guy so what I did was wait until he had forgotten about me and I tracked him to dat where he was grinding. I snuck up on him, incapped him and droped the mission. good fun, I suggest you try it sometime.
