A jedi gets a tef for using his lightsaber in front of an imperial. Was the bounty hunter imperial? If so then he could attack the jedi at will.

Yeah, he woulda had to start over and remake his lighsaber. Does sound kinda fishy, but who knows.
It's not fishy. He crafted 1 training saber easily (no crystals or anything required), used force powers in front of other people, showed up on the terminals. Got killed, did it again. After the 3rd death, his inventory and skills went poof, but hecloned like normal. Then he crafted another training saber and repeated. There's no limit.

There's already been 1 jedi to get banned for 3 days for doing this. Don't remember the name, but it was on the forums couple months ago.

Gee... if a Jedi having structures is an 'exploit', why do they have lots?
For a dev to remove/delete your structures in such a random fashion is not only capricious, but just down-right mean-spirited. If this is truly an issue, devs should send a system-wide message that at X date and time, all Jedi will lose their lots, and then just change the lots to 0 for Jedi characters.
We will, however, ignore the logic, or lack of, in this. I strongly suggest you all contemplate this with me. Shall we meet at Ben Kenobi's house on Tatooine?

99% of the time if you have to do a work a round to get some thing.. So when you try to place a house with your jedi and you get a system message that says :"a jedi has no need of such things" . Then you proceed to place that structure with another character and then /transferstructure to your jedi. You have to know that your not playing by thier rules
IE exploit

why is anyone transfering the structure to their jedi? why not simply put the jedi on admin, thereby removing the possibility of anything going *poof*

Because a jedi has 10 lots thus if you transfer to him your main can mine!

The thing you have to remember is that anything that would seem logical and might help a Jedi in any way is considered an exploit. Once you have accepted this, everything the devs do and every flame by non-Jedi will make complete sense.

I agree with Jwmc4. If you have to work around some obstacle... it's probably an exploit. Does it suck that they deleted the items from you without warning? Sure. Would it have been nice to warn everyone that they would be doing so and to make your accounts legit before that time? Sure. Are they required to? Sadly, no.

so what happens when you are just walking by a house and suddenly you get the message This structure has been successfully transfered
And you suddenly have a house and 2 lots are gone.
You didn't ask for the house, you didn't even get a message confirmation about accepting it, it's just ...YOURS..
So what then? is that an "exploit" because the game allows it? Why give the Jedi any lots at all if you don't want them having houses and structures. Personally, I will continue to kepe my houses until I'm told otherwise. It's not my fault someone transfered them to me. I didn't ask for them, and I have no way of getting rid of them.
I don't see an exploit here, I just see broken ass coding.
