If you think cops catch the bad guy for the money, you are seriously misinformed.
Also, comparing Bounty Hunters (in the Star Wars sense) to Law Enforcement is incorrect. True, depending on the Hunter, it COULD be in a capacity to aid Law Enforcement, but in most cases it's to exact REVENGE for someone who is not capable of carrying out the task themselves.
I would think that the level of morals a Bounty Hunter has is totally up to the individual Hunter. If you're going to try to compare this profession to something in RL, try Assassin or Hit Man.

Is a police officer not a honorable profession then? He gets paid to bring in the bad guays and the state/city & county hes in is the employer. I bring in people who commit crimes against the empire and the emperor is my employer. Now, im allowed to use deadly force more ofen then a police officer but then again most cops dont encounter people who have laser swords. Think of stormtroopers as beat cops and Bounty Hunters as SWAT.
The differnce between a Police officer and a BH is that a Police officer will go after ANYONE witnessed of a crime, not turn a blind eye to the murderers and drug dealers, and instead go killing the petty pre-teen shoplifters to pay for his doughnuts.Message Edited by Dlek_Krego on 06-23-2005 03:22 PM
lmao, i've never seen a BH do that either.
LOL.... then you never saw a BH go thru MO on Dant, walk RIGHT past the dueling Knights, go to the Starport to fly off to some distant BH mission terminal, come back thru MO, and again, go RIGHT past the dueling Knights on his way out to kill the 65k bounty he just picked up off the terms....
