Anyone worth his salt knows that it's spelled "honour".

BH Honor = oxymoron
Pretty much sums up my view. To those that think differently please explain how someone who captures a person or kills a person for money is an "honourable" profession ?If you choose not to hunt those in your faction then you are an honorable "soldier" for your faction. I am a loyal soldier to the empire and only hunt on the side.If I wanted to be more like the fetts I would hunt either faction and not belong to either of them.
Is a police officer not a honorable profession then? He gets paid to bring in the bad guays and the state/city & county hes in is the employer. I bring in people who commit crimes against the empire and the emperor is my employer. Now, im allowed to use deadly force more ofen then a police officer but then again most cops dont encounter people who have laser swords. Think of stormtroopers as beat cops and Bounty Hunters as SWAT.
The differnce between a Police officer and a BH is that a Police officer will go after ANYONE witnessed of a crime, not turn a blind eye to the murderers and drug dealers, and instead go killing the petty pre-teen shoplifters to pay for his doughnuts.Message Edited by Dlek_Krego on 06-23-2005 03:22 PM
SWAT doesnt go after shoplifters. SWAT can and does go after hard core criminals (ie. Jedi....what! Emperor says they are criminals, who am I to argue!) like drug deals and murderers. C'mon, work with me here.
that is what I am saying... the poster i was qupting was comparing BH's to police.... Police (and SWAT) go after all levels of criminals reguardless of risk.... BH's just go after the lowest ones because they are an almost guaranteed paycheck... If Police (or SWAT) worked like BH's do, you'd have murderers and dope dealers running amuck with Cops just watching them do it, and then the weak, petty little shop lifters when caught will have a swarm a cops blasting him, fighting over their doughnut money.... get the comparison now?
As you said...The Emperor says ALL jedi are criminals, NOT just the little 30 to 75k paddies.

Those are some funny responses. In some cases your foresight and cunning will be the key to completing your mission. Fight dirty, nice, or whatever suits your play style.
I think the worst thing a BH could do, would be to talk trash about or to your mark.
I mean come on, this isn't a first person shooter.
/agree
i never trash talk a mark, unless it trash talked me then lost.
cops do it all the time IRL, i think of them as a noble profession.

Finally someone with some sanity! There is nothing more ignorant than blurting out stupid-ass jibberish like that! It's nausiating how many people I see running around shouting that after duels and such. It's a close fight on most occasions too, which is the most annoying part. If that honestly makes you fell better about yourself, then keep it to yourself and spare us the trouble.
Also the one big thing you shouldnt do is say annoying childish things like,"pwnd or n00b" It just makes jedi angry and makes you look like an idiot.

How do you know they didn't see you coming and simply exited the game?

My thoughts exactly, and most of the time that is the case.

My character has no qualms about killing anyone and anything, but I as a player won't kill a LD Jedi, and there are a few player Jedi I won't hunt due to IC reasons.
AFK's a different animal. If you were dumb enough to go AFK someplace where you were vulnerable, sorry, but that was your decision. Not mine.
Other than that, nothing else matters to me but getting the kill if I can. I'd take advantage of a Jedi being in the middle of a GCW fight, or PvE, or whatever. Faction means nothing, and neither does using a Jedi's disadvantage to my advantage.
