I agree. The CU2 was the BHs victory over jedi.
Thier mindless mega-grind was in vain. Now all can have a jedi. They got nothing for it and I actually feel sad for them.
At least we BHs had fun while they grinded!!
Having played as both MBH and full-template Jedi, I can tell you that playing as a Jedi was 100 times more fun... force run, cloak, stasis, saber throw, force lightning, regain consciousness, avoid incapacitation, force choke... so much more fun that simply wielding a pistol/carbine/rifle and maybe having a few debuffs.
So we had to grind for a few days to get to full-template, it was more than worth it. You missed out on the most fun the game had to offer, you'll never know what it was like.
Hrmm exact opposite here. I played MBH because it was fun... what fun was it to run around looking for another overt in theed as a jedi? Jedi = boring.

Can't say I've been on the jedi side, but I know several who have both and say the jedi is boring as hell. They only log on their jedi to check their email, and then play their bh for the rest of the day. Seems pussycat is a one of a kind, here. Maybe that's why the DEVs seem to listen to her, it's always the few ruining it for the rest.

No, we win. I don't see how people don't realize this, but now the Jedi won't be "uber." They'll be a faceless character, an insignificant being in the SW universe, and that's exactly what they don't want.
You are a moron that is exactly what this jedi wanted thanks soe now I can finally enjoy my game.
QFE!
Yeah bubbles time to celebrate someone that thinks lag is content agrees with you.

You are SOL, thank God they are doing away with forced pvp, it was your kind that ruined the game for hundreds of players.

No, it was those who used forced pvp to impose their game style on others, regardless of their being an unwanted presence, that ruined it for the rest.

You're right! I killed 260 different Jedi and had over 300 Jedi kills altogether. So I did ruin it for 260 different Jedi. As for being SOL I will simply play another game. As for you, you're nerfed down to a starting profession. Cya.

Just because you liked it, doesn't mean everybody else did... the system should have been optional, so that someone who enjoyed the pvp would get hunted, and those who didn't could have just enjoyed the game without forced pvp... But now, it's already too late for even that, it just seemed easier I guess to do away with the whole system of player bounties... and you can probably thank the griefers for that.

Hunny, you did not ruin it for 260 Jedi -- a few of them might have been players who actually liked pvp... I'm sorry that you would speak with such glee about ruining the game for others, I guess it just shows the kind of person that you are.
As for Jedi being a starter profession and not an alpha class, I think it's great, no more time sinks such as the village or hologrinding, no more players choosing Jedi just to be "uber", and thank God, no more forced pvp, in so many ways this is going to be better for players.

I like how your comfortable enough with me to call me honey. Almost makes me feel good. But you are the one that said my kind ruined it for hundreds... just letting you know you're probably right. Jedi was made up of a bunch of carebear people like yourself that grew up with mommy and daddy giving you timeouts instead of busting your ass when you messed up. A lot of people like you don't know what its like to actually earn something you just expect that you deserve it and will **edit** about it until you get it.
What I said earlier was the nicer version of this but I felt attacked right then and feel I can say these things now.

Oh, Geezus, so now you are speculating about parental upbringing affecting gaming preferences? Well, at any rate, the private lives of other players are none of your business; and even if they weren't, I'm pretty sure you're dead wrong about that. Instead of playing armchair psychiatrist, simply accept the fact that forced pvp is history, and that all the griefers will have to go elsewhere to continue griefing people.
TyrenioChilastra wrote:
Well, pussycat, you probably have another carebear response to this, but you agreed to be attacked when you gained that little purple bar next to your name. You knew the rules. You knew you were to be hunted. It's your fault you even had a bounty hunter attack you. Believe me, I ground with jedi for months upon months, and it was the easiest thing to stay off the terminals. Don't attack when you see an npc, and store your pets. Nothing more to it. IT WAS YOUR ONLY HURDLE to becoming the most powerful class in the game, and now you not only removed that, you removed your strength. How much more destructive can you carebears be? This is why I think the game will be falling on its face soon, because the carebears will continue to destroy the game until it's all over.
Just because forced pvp is imposed upon a certain profession, it doesn't make it any less forced. Yeah, I knew that Jedi were subject to attack. No, this DOES NOT MEAN that there had to be forced pvp. Why can't you understand that? It was a game mechanic that nobody was FORCED to use... in TC-Prime, bounty hunters respected the wishes of Jedi who did not want to be hunted, and only hunted those who consented. The fact that there's a game mechanic that can be used to force pvp unto others DOES NOT MEAN that there HAD to be forced pvp. I realize this point may be too difficult for you to understand... but the fact remains, that at least on the Test Center server, bounty hunters respected the wishes fo those who didn't like pvp, they DID NOT FORCE PVP on them.... obviously, it would have been too much to expect that bounty hunters in live servers would be equally civilized, and it took SOE quite a bit of time to realize how dangerous this game mechanic really was....
But, that's in the past now. Forced pvp is going out, I don't want Jedi to be the most powerful class in the game, and so I'm perfectly happy with the new game dynamics.
Force pvp is a thing of the past, you'll just have to accept it sooner or later.
