i sell about 5-10 crates of these per week, but my shop is fairly remote for BHs (S. of Anchorhead).

Its a staple, but not near as much of one as quality crafting tools are for me.

It's not an active exploit, but it is still an exploit. Seeker Droids are only supposed to have 10 charges. If you use them 11 times - regardless of the reason - you're exploiting a known bug. Similarly, if you use an Arakyd Probe Droid 6 times you are exploiting another known bug.


There are all kinds of passive exploits out there, some of which even I use accidentally at times. However, the fact that they are passive doesn't mean that they aren't exploits.

Has anyone noticed that the quality of BH droids doesn't seem to matter? I had two BH runs experiments with seekers. No difference they said.

So, you are saying that every BH is an exploiter simply because they use more charges on their droids than the droids are supposed to have, even tho there is no way to use the droids in which the counters will deplete? That's a little harsh, don't you think? It's not like they are doing it because everyone does it, or because it's cheaper. There is absolutely no other way!

What kind of droids does a bounty hunter usually need to have i asked them but they wouldnt answer because i got it in my holo

i havent sold a BH droid yet so i would not know and i made MDE the second month after release.


I had a customer who wanted 1000BH droids but he quite the game just after i finshed the order so ihad to try to give the useless things away and still wound up throwing950 of them away because nobody wanted them!!!





The Master Droid Engineer Profession Needs to be fixed before any more of my friends leave the game forever!!

I'm sure this is in a FAQ somewhere.


It's short, so I'll get to the point


Always remember to go to the spynet informants after you get your mission (the BH forum probably has a FAQ somewhere that lists what levels all of them are)


At Investigation 1 you need Seeker droids to find your mark on the planet.

At Investigation 2 you need Arakyds to find which planet they are on, then Seekers to track your opponent.

Beyond that, it's more of the same except a couple things that "should" make the droids update you quicker and more often.


Difficulty rises with each Investigation level.

you need to have Investigations ! skill bow done first, then you can use the BH droids. Arakyds are used to find out what planet a mark is on and Seekers tell you where on the planet the mark is. The marks do move around on you so you will use the seeker more than once on a mission. Contact me for more info.

Hello , I've just started my Investigation tree and I'm wondering about what droids to buy I know you need both seekers & probe droids, but I've also heard that the Dz-70 also acts as a probe droid, now should I get just the regular Arakyrd probe droids or should I get a Dz-70 , and what is the difference between the Droid-engineers Dz-70 and the ones sold by the Imperial faction.

You need Seeker driods and Arakyrd probe droids, the DZ-70 is NOT a bounty hunter driod and cannot be used as one. It is only a pet.


I have no clue about the imperials selling any type of driods since I'm rebel, sorry I can't help there.

I am a new bounty hunter and have Inv 1 but i dont know where to come about finding droids to find my marks... i learned how to use the informants but whats the use if i haveno droids to find the marks.

You have to buy arakyd and seeker droids from droid engineers. So treat your neighbourhood droid engineer with lotsa lotsa respect
