If that's the case, how are you getting past all the spiders and wookiees to that point? Are you killing them all the way down?

I hate these AFK grinders and if the BHs on my server aren't going to take care of it, I'll use my BH to do it myself.

Burstrun, burstrun food, and bridge LOS exploits take care of most of the mobs. That leaves you mostly intact to kill the jedi in the wookie camp.

Got two just last night.

*ahem*

Now, which side of the fence are the ones exploiting, again?

I burst ran to the first camp and had no LOS problems till I hit the ramp at the bottom. took me a while to figure out what was happening as it was my first trip down there. needs a fix for sure.

This morning at the beginning of the Webweaver trail, by the guide, I fell off the branches and ended up on the ground. I did a CTRL-M and just followed the path to the grinding grounds without one aggro. I have to figure out how to do it again. Oh, plus I was able to sneak up on 'em.

To get back up, you have to run underneath one of the bridges and just walk up through it. I think this is why they left the /unstick command in there. They've accepted that falling off the branches is an unfixable bug, so the easiest thing for them to do is just tell people to /unstick when they inevitably fall off.

OH give me a break, they provide services to others but in the end help themselves with the money and xp they made while AFK

Don't lose sight of the big picture by seeing only what you want to see.

BTW, I do agree Jedi AFKr's are absolutely wrong and if I have a group will not allow it. But don't point out only AFK jedi as being out for themselves b/c that is just not accurate.

Exactly.

AFK Macro'ers, no matter what profession they are, RUIN the gameplay experience of others who are really playing this game - across multiple professions, and multiple experiences.

AFK macrotainers steal a spot a live Ent could have taken and made credits/xp at.

AFK buffbots steal what a live Doctor could be doing, just like AFK macrotainers.

AFK Jedi grinders steal a grinding spot from someone who fights their way down to the caves, only to find Jedi abound and are slicing through everything.

AFK macro'ers ruin the game, and they're all in it for themselves. Only someone so selfish could care less about possibly ruining an unknown number of players' gaming experience for DAYS at a time.

I am pleased to announce that I bagged myself 5 out of 6 grouped Jedi who were AFK exploiting the wookiees at the Webweaver Trail on Kash! They were all over 200k bounties and I made myself a cool 1+ million! I would've gotten the 6th one if the server didn't go down. But, there's always tomorrow!

Instead of complaining about them exploiting the trail, how about everyone go in and kill them! It's not that hard. I even killed a full template defender running force aura and infusion macro. I remember reading a thread by some BH saying he couldn't kill an AFK Jedi defender running aura/infusion and complaining about it. It's not true. You can!

I will keep hunting these AFK Jedi until they realize that the Trail exploit is no longer safe harbor for them anymore.

For one, it isnt an explioit.

I go there because the exp is good, I am never AFK. You will get a shock if you try and "bag" me if you see me down there

What does being a Jedi have to do with it? SOE has ignored the macrotainers, buffbots, lootbots, healbots & every other AFK application that the player base has come up with. Why would they treat a Jedi grindbot any different?

I'm just glad that this is one bot that the player base can handle on it's own.

Congrats to the OP on an easy Mil

Let's see...macrotainers: helps other people, buffbots: helps other people, healbots: help other people...

Jedi afk grinders help themselves.

All afk people help themselves, people buffed - mind or otherwise- for credits and to get rich while being afk is FAR worse for the game then getting xp with the effect that having a 24/7 money making machine has on the economy is far more reaching than someone getting xp to get it over with. Not to mention the afk entertainers who use it as way to grind through FS while they play their alt. To say they provide a service to other players is dumb, in no way is it the intention and what it comes down to at its basic level is the intentions of the afk macro'ers - To advance in one way or another.(I realize there were buffbots for guild members only, but not enough to make my point moot.)But if you'd like to go on about how us afk jedi grinders(yes I did it for a bit at the end. since BH's didn't come for me anymore I figured why not.) don't provide a service to other players, they do. They supplied the OP with 1 million credits. What it basically comes down to for jedi is whether or not the loss is enough to upset the gain, and at near full template its not. The truth is, and you can't avoid it, doing repitive tasks with macros is fully within the parameters of the game, that's why we have the ability to use them. If it wasn't the intention then we wouldn't have commands like /cycleTargetOutward; or /attack; or /pause 2; or /macro whateveryouchoosetonameit. Unlike other afk professions, jedi actually have something to lose.

wow another respec BH for me to shoot down. if a jedi exploits the Rryatt trail, that means u CANT attack him. u cant bag 5 jedi if they are exploiting. killing wookies in a group on that level is not a exploit, never has never will. hiding in the blind spot is. all u respec BHs need to get some brains. seroisly.

You would figure even the older Jedi are complaining about this. That should give you all the hint that it is wrong. Like you said, maybe it is exceptable, but for me it's an exploit to get exp and not have to do a damn thing about it. Then all we here is why do BH cry about droids.

Like I said I can live with the droid issue, just think it's so wrong. And if you spoke to me about being respec'ed try again. When I started this game I was going for BH, and finnaly mastered it after a long break. Being a MBH is a state of mind, being a new Jedi is a state of how good your macro's are..

PS: Sorry to offend any new jedi who do the xp thing by actully SITTING at the PC like it should be done!

You shouldn't attack them because they are afk. you should attack them because that's the name of this little game within this game. It's bounty hunting. I have a macro that attacks what the leader attacks. However, I sit at the kb. Unless IM taking a bathroom break and Im rushing back to make sure a bh hasn't shown up. What bit the most was that I had my last bh incapped but couldn't finish him off cause the wookies were kicking my jedi tail too. lol. I was never a pvp'er. but i started learning and Im getting better at it. Also, jedi has taught me alot of other things that I never knew about the game. like keeping my eye on the radar and learning to pay attention to other things besides how much damage im doing to the mob's im fighting. so far, ive been killed 3 times for almost 400k jedi. the 3rd time I was quite po'd. but then i congratulated the guy and i plan on getting better. that's it. around the 4th or 5th time, I may start solo'ing (not the old version but by myself) again. It is what it is. But what I can tell you is this, I grinded my butt out of the whole quite quickly. It is apparent that the ratio gain outweighs the loss. However, there are no bugs involved and there are many things you can do with macros. So I cannot agree with the term exploit. How many bh's put their marks on their friendlist to see if theyre on. how many of you watch the mark from a distance so you can wait for his health to go down. That xp loss bits way more than being killed and the loss of prestige. Besides, there are way too many bh's attacking the low level paddies. To me, it's almost like few are good enough to bother with taking on a more pwerful jedi. Just my opinion of course.

I think that there are just as many people in other profs that do some questionable things as well as jedi.
