"Men have less hesitation about offending one who makes himself loved than one who makes himself feared, for love is held together by a chain of obligation which, because man is sadly wicked, is broken at every opportunity to serve their self-interest, but fear is maintained by a dread of punishment which never abandons you."

Awww, I can feel the love in that post.

<3

And when your fears subside
And shadows still remain, ohhh yeahhh
I know that you can love me
When there's no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way
'Cause nothin' lasts forever
Even cold November rain

My opinion is not so much the continuity issues, its the way players conduct themselves when they play their Jedi. Jedi are noble, keeper's of the peace, using the force for wisdom and defense. They are humble, and do not go around trying to show who's the the best by randomly fighting anyone in front of the starport. On the other side, Dark Jedi use guile and deciet to gain an advantage. They lurk in the shadows, only revealing themselves at an opportune time.

If more people conducted themselves in a more honarble manner, public opinion woudln't be so hateful against us.

Actually, the Star destroyers are there. Just look up in the sky once in a while. Or try deep space

When I first started playing I was a Jedi hater, well to be exact I became one pretty quick during my first couple of weeks of playing.

Jedi were elite and rare. They were very powerful...at least by game standards, and seemed bigger than life to me. So I admired them from afar. But every time I came in for a closer look or tried to get to know one, what I was shown was a very immature "power-gamer" who spewed curses as readily as they dispatched MOB's.

So I started hating them and every time I saw one go down (as rare as the experience was) I did a silent cheer. I reveled every time I got to help one lose xp and wished mightily that their punishment would teach them at least some respect for fellow players, even though we were beneath them. (at least by the way they acted)

But, I also vowed that I would be different when I became a Jedi, and I have been. But the more I played the more I began to notice that although in the early days MOST of the Jedi that were around were jerks for the most part, there were some that were very heroic. More like a Jedi should be (IMHO).

These Jedi with class and integrity still exist from the early days, and they should be admired. And one of the best things that has happened with the Jedi explosion (a natural evolution of the game if you ask me) is that although it has diluted the strength of the profession, it has increased the number of decent people playing our Elite profession, it isn't a class JUST for the "immature leet pwnzor power gamers"

I cheer when I see someone with the title "Jedi Master" go down. It's quite funny

These are the things people generally think about when they hear Star Wars! And so, with the exception of Yoda, Bobba Fett and the Star Destroyer, you find all this in the game!

Actually, Boba Fett and ISD's are in game. Boba Fett is located inside Jabba's palace. Look to the heaven's to see ISD's. There's one in Deep Space with 100 guns, but that darn thing can't hit the broad side of a barn. Leia, Han, Chewie, and Luke are also ingame. Haven't seen Lando or Yoda though.
