Maybe being a Jedi you don't understand this, but if you go around to some of the cities in the game, there are terminals called "bounty hunter terminals."They're similar to the terminals you pull bol missions from on Dantooine, but instead of bols and pikets and huurtons you pull bounty missions for either NPCs or Jedi. If a Jedi is on the terminals--there's no way to select a specific Jedi to hunt by the way--it is because eithera player or NPC witnessed the Jediillegally using his force powers. If a player wishes to engage in gameplay without generating visibility, he can use an alternate character on the same server. Visibility is an intended part of the game. Likewise, it's not due to a bug or exploit that a Jedi appears on the terminals.
It's not against the rules to attack a Jediany more than it is against the rules for a member of the Special Forces to attack another Special Forces member of the opposing faction. It could be argued that if a player doesn't want to be attacked, he shouldn't declare himself a member of Special Forces, however in order to delegate faction a player must be declared as a member of his faction's Special Forces. As a Smuggler I can purchase faction points from a recruiter and sell them to other players. In order to do this, I must be declared as a member of my faction's Special Forces. When I go on leave after selling the faction points there is a five minute period in which I am still attackable even though I already told the recruiter I wanted to go on leave. The catch is that I know full well going in that I am venerable during this time even though Idon't necessarily want to fight. If I'm attacked, though, I'm not going to blubber like a dumb little baby about people breaking the rules when I knew full well what the rules really were going into the transaction.

THE /DUEL WAS FIXED LAST PATCH IN A STEALTH FIX!
I can vouch for this I tried to /duel someone two weeks ago - got nothing but a regular duel request then a minute later he attacks me. This was NOT announced nor made public.. prolly to benefit the BHs.... in any case you are all still complaining. Its over and done with let this thread die becuase its not an issue. If you are still receiving /duels either they are doing it to annoy you or they don't know they fixed it like me.

Ok, I have said this before in another post, but you all seem to be so content with ranting that you don't care. They FIXED this a patch ago. It was a stealth nerf/fix, I am a jedi I tried to /duel someone and all it said to me is that I challenged him to a duel and then next thing ya know BOOM he shoots me. This happened TWO WEEKS AGO. I was still /duel ing BHs cause I thought I could still find out. For the jedi who aren't hunted that often they will most likely still do the /duel cause it was a stealth nerf/fix. Get some knowledge before you rant please. Thank you.
There should have been an announcement that this exploit was fixed. However I still report the Jedi that do this for harassment. Even if it doesn't work, they are still trying to exploit.

Doesn't that mean that every Jedi that gets hunted can report the BH? I certainly don't welcome losing hundreds of thousands of xp when I'm trying to hunt.
