Thread: Bounty Hunters... what can Dev do Right Now??
Feels more like a way to make subpair/broken BH skills legit... another rush job...
Also remove the totally useless Rifles line.
An increase in LLC speed and accurracy would be greatly appreciated.
A boost to Melee AND Ranged defence modifiers? Or perhaps dodge?

We are going to remove the Trapping, Hunting, and Survival Scout lines from the Bounty Hunter prerequisites.
This should give you and additional 48 skill points to add to the 33 you had left over for a total of 81 additional point to spend as you please.
This is something that we have been considering for a long time, and wanted to do as part of the CB, but we need you to be as effective as possible against Jedi as soon as possible. This is a start.
Your other issues are known, and in varying stages of development, but we want you to know that things are going to get better. Hopefully rapidly.
This change will be hitting Test Center tomorrow afternoon, and should be Live by Friday.

Frankly, I'll take this. ANY other solution would mean waiting 3 months for the CB. If in fact things need to go back to the full master scout requirement during the CB, then so be it.
This is at least something we can work with. TKM/Master BH.... now that might be something to work with.

If they remove those lines the developers can easily say "Well, you have no skills in trapping, why should we?" This is all a very bad idea and it seems to be the easy way out. There will certainly be more Rifleman/BH hybrids roaming around...
Why can't the developers just make us useful and increase our damage output on BH specials. How does this fix fastblast? How does this increase our defenses (Sure a guy can now dabble into a defensive template but what if they chose something else that gives no defenses? We are right back at square one...) How does this benefit the BH profession by making us use specials from other professions?
Like I said this is a bad idea and in the future will just give devs excuses on what we should and should not have.
- Master Bounty Hunter to havethe following total defenses:
- +45 Melee Defense
- +45 Defense vs. Dizzy
- +35 Defense vs. KD
- +35 Defense vs. Posture Change
- +30 Defense vs. Blind
This would probably be fair since players can stack other defenses, etc. (until the Combat Revamp).
Lastly...
- Fix the Jedi logoff / logon bug that prevents Bounty Hunters from hunting them.
- Have the BH Droids update to the correct planet.
- Allow Bounty Hunters to carryseveral missions for Jedi players.
