No at first we had 3 weapons, scatter pistol, carbine and LLC. We could change between the 3 when we wanted, only carbine skills would work with the carbine, pistols skills with the pistol and LLC specials with the LLC.


We used to KD the jedi with the carbine sticking a nice dizzy on in the process, set a nice burn or bleed with the pistol, and then spam the llc special to finish off the jedi. Then the weapon switch delay nerf was put in (to stop jedi using armour, lol). As compensation the Devs reduced are skill points so we could either master pistols, rifles or carbines.


This is when the jedi whining for nerfs on bh really started. Many BH's decided to drop all of bh apart from 3-0-0-0 and pick up a nice melee template. The knights on the servers were running scared, move BH missions to MBH they would post. Many ranged bh's, including myself, also called for the change, we were upset that a 3-0-0-0 bh was more affective at killing jedi than a master.

yeah those were the days switching between weapons...it actually *gasp* to some tatics instead of just holding one weapon I still switch weapons back and for even with the wepon switch delay...now there no need to other then range and rifle pretty much got that covered for 0 to 65m

It seems to me that most melee classes are out as well as any hybrid jedi/BH mixes (one of my favorite RP hybrids as a self-loathing jedi turned BH).


Personally, I think smuggler is likely out as it is a gamble on the Last Ditch to make it hit. I think the vast majority of BHs will wind up with one of the three ranged professions, and one branch of CM.


I feel that this is a bad decision on SOEs part to limit our choices of template like this. It basically means that jedi will then be able to tailor their templates to counter-act the limited choices that BHs will now have.








Thats what the jedi wanted all along, the templates that actually could take down a full template were removed when jedi missions were moved to master.


Don't worry though we have first strike, so we can choose when and where we want to die.






Are you kidding me, there are many master BH templates that can and do solo full temp jedi. MBH/Rifle/cm4000 comes to mind first but there are plenty of others.







before you say "learn to play your template", those "few" jedi who were killed by a MBH should have learnt how to play there jedi. There is no way any Jedi whohas half a brainshould EVER lose to a MBH.


This is what makes the mission thing the biggest joke, a PvP expert who is a BH, has to get lucky to take down the dumbest of jedi players.


Again don't worry we have first strike so get to choose when and where we want to die, now thats balance.
