Hi, I'm a MBH/ Mweaponsmith, I solo full tempates!!
What do you have the other 37 SP put into? And what is your CL?
/chucklespotting sarcasm has never been your strong point.
Maybe I just play along?
I hope you are not trying to start a personal flame war with me here.
/grinno need. you flame yourself with most of the posts you make. however, if i see a post i consider dumb, i'll answer it. you just seem to make more of these posts than any other jedi trolling in here./shrug
I dont know about that. At least I dont classify a Jedi / BH fight as non-PvP as some others on these boards do. Maybe thats the issue here? Stop trolling my posts.
Yes, with the limit of player bountys set to MBH you can't effectively dabble with melee. But MBH + Mpistoleer/Rifleman/Carbineer is quite effect anyways. You just have to know your stuff. Take MBH/Mpistoleer+xxx4 Smuggler and you get a root, a daze root and a snare along with high defense, decent accuarcy and speed.
MBH/MRifleman/4xxxCM gives you decent Defense high Dmg, awesome heals. You maximne your ranged skills anyways buy being a MBH/Mranged profession.
So find a template that suits your style of hunting and go with it. Me Personally I prefer MBH/MPistoleer xxx4 Smuggler. Cause I've always been a smuggler and concussion is great for interrupting Macros. Underhand + Concussion shot when their defense icon starts blinking then Critcal + Torso after it wears off for maximuim damage. The only thing that sux if with out ranged cyberarms you have a fun time try not to get hit. I love controling the flow of battle with my mark. Which is why I have Pistoleer instead or Rifleman or Carbineer and why I don't dabble in CM. I don't find I need healing of that effectiency if I'm controlling my mark correctly.
But as I said find what works for you.

It seems to me that most melee classes are out as well as any hybrid jedi/BH mixes (one of my favorite RP hybrids as a self-loathing jedi turned BH).
Personally, I think smuggler is likely out as it is a gamble on the Last Ditch to make it hit. I think the vast majority of BHs will wind up with one of the three ranged professions, and one branch of CM.
I feel that this is a bad decision on SOEs part to limit our choices of template like this. It basically means that jedi will then be able to tailor their templates to counter-act the limited choices that BHs will now have.
Get a grip. those days are long gone and players now should not be subject to comparision to "true" BHs. So you had to play thru a crappy broke profession.
Everyone did in the beginning. No buffs. Armor sucked. Weapons sucked. Hell certain professions are still broken or getting rebroken with every patch.

Don't worry the devs are doing all they can to make sure its a broke crappy profession again

That's 7 choices (including the requisite MBH), and BH's absolutely tailor their templates to counter-act the limited choices Jedi have, not to mention the limited range they have.
Templated Jedi have 5 choices total, and it's unfair that Jedi can tailor their templates to counter-act BH's choices?

if that was you point then why not state it? cause your prior post makes no refernce to that point at all. Its just another "I had it harder mastering BH then you!!".
I have no problem with only MBH being able to pull player bounties. It makes sense you'd only want to hire "the best" to pull the most dangerious bounties in the Galaxy.

Are you kidding me, there are many master BH templates that can and do solo full temp jedi. MBH/Rifle/cm4000 comes to mind first but there are plenty of others.

Thats what the jedi wanted all along, the templates that actually could take down a full template were removed when jedi missions were moved to master.
Don't worry though we have first strike, so we can choose when and where we want to die.
before you say "learn to play your template", those "few" jedi who were killed by a MBH should have learnt how to play there jedi. There is no way any Jedi whohas half a brainshould EVER lose to a MBH.
This is what makes the mission thing the biggest joke, a PvP expert who is a BH, has to get lucky to take down the dumbest of jedi players.
Again don't worry we have first strike so get to choose when and where we want to die, now thats balance.

Did you actually read that blokes post, did you? because he states in there the jedi he faced had a crappy saber, there are not many jedi with a crappy saber out there, so one bh out of a thousand got lucky, when he starts saying he can solo high end jedi, all mannor of templates, then i'll sit up and listen. Tanks doesn't believe we can do it, Auraboron doesn't think we can compete but surprise, surprise the jedi thinks we can compete.

Not after Pub20 goes live. We will practically have to introduce ourselves to the Jedi to get their name. Since you will have to tab to get their name now, you will more likely be spotted now. Hoping the devs give us an alternative before this goes live.
Worst part is the freakin Jedi may know where after them before we do, with this duel "bug"......
ya with that crap the jedi will know before we do which person we have a mission for, on the rryatt trails you'll know who's mission you've got cause they'll be the one running to the bridge and logging out, assuming you don't endlessly chase them thru the different instances

Well you still have alot more choices then when bountyhunter required master scout master marksman, which is how I orginaly got my MBH tag...quit complaining you have more skill points to use the the bh before you...the praticaly giving away MBH now
Werent you guys limited to just pistol skills back then too? Its been a while.
no, but a popular fotm back then was bh pistols/pistoleer, but bh used to have access to a heavy weapon, the light lightning cannon, carbines and pistols. i guess rifles too since you had to get master marksman
