One question I have for you FunkyZabrak: Do you have a lot of downtime with not having any skill in channel force/meditate? The reason I ask is because I am currently LS 0400, Healer 4000, Enhancer 0002, Novice Powers, Novice Defender and I was contemplating using my first /respec to get 0002 Defender and dropping all of Enhancer. I just dont know that it would benefit me because of the amount of force I use while fighting. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated from anyone who cares to comment, thanks.

i would suggest going x4xx and/or xxx4 first to get either ranged def and/or valor for more block best scenario would be both

Go for xx4x defender and get improved aura.
Is it true that Aura only defends against melee attacks and not ranged?

Gaaul. When I have been grinding solo I tend not to use LS specials, just basic saber hit. I always have improved infusion and valor running. I can generally get about 50-100k xp in a buff session like this (more during double xp time) and I don't have any downtime cos of lack of force.

Let me see if I can find my test results from before. Had a rifleman shooting at me with and without aura. I'll try and find it so you can see the difference.

Gaaul......you probably won't need to cut out LS specials altogether, just be wary of using them as your default attack.
What do I know though, I'm just a rookie!! ![]()
