wait till they tack a mind cost to heals.

Should be fun.

I don't think they will. Putting a mind cost on heals won't nerf the template everyone wants nerfed, and will ruin the templates everyone thinks are already too weak.

QFE. You're more likely to find a completed template that doesn't have sabers than one that doesn't have channel....and powers sucks in comparison to sabers.

If there's any way you can use a stun attack, do it. Stun removes 100% of action and mind regen for the duration of the stun. No more channel.

I was in this exact siuation yesterday.

Hat's off to aleris, who came for me solo at the imperial prison.

She stalked me and attacked just as the DJM went down, i had of couse very little force from repeated AI use, and no holos on me.

At the start I had maybe 1k force, which i quickly depleted trying to incap her, from then on, for the next 45 mins or so, all i could do was heal and channel, and my health was at a constant 2k becuause of it.

At the end we called it a draw, she was bored and I had to log for RL issues.

Best BH fight Ive ever had, and i have a feeling she would havve got me eventually.

Only if the jedi is an idiot.

General mis-conception of channel is that jedi use it as a last resort when their force is all but gone, using channel like this, your just shooting yourself in the foot. what you gain here in force you'll loose in healing whats left of your Health, at this point getting hit for as little as a few hundred points of damage is almost enough to incap you.

Correct use of channel force is early in a fight, when your health is well above 4k from spice/food/drinks or even more if you have doc buffs, at this point you can easily channel away 2k or so health and not be bothered. this leaves you with plenty of time for your health to recover. channel should be used like this, to keep your force topped up at the start of a fight. this way when BH's think your running out, your actualy at a very comfortable force level.

exactly, I normally relay on my CM skills at this point once I see the ham bar dropping below 2k-2.4k is when I lay heavy hits on them to scare them from using it.

The poster that said waiting for the force pool being low enough that channeling has become a necessity is absolutely right. I, like many others, have channel as part of my aura/infusion macro. Metered channeling, in conjunction with simple force management is simply the only way many of us are able to keep our force pools and health high enough for prolonged grinding sessions.

I probably shouldn't say this part, but KD me..please. While many think that a Jedi not getting up from KD is a sign of fumbling or weakness, I thank you for it. I lay there from 30-60 seconds, healing away, channeling, whatever I need to do. If we're flat on our backs, we aren't using action or mind, except in the process of heals. While one doesn't enjoy the same action/mind pool re-cooperation that comes from sitting, it's enough. The only time a KD seems extremely important when fighting Jedi is if the you need the rest/heals.

pre cu it would take from there health and action and they coudlnt heal that health and action for a long time so then you woudl do health hits on them, what happens now? dose it take from there health? if it dose i dont think they should be able to heal that health for like 5 minutes.

yup. the smart ones know that they can just stand there and take damage, channel, and heal forever. If you don't attack with your saber the only force your using is from heals.. channel gives about 200 force, heals cost about 55. My alt can knockdown a jedi, and he'll just stay on the ground laughing, channeling and healing forever...

Untill the 2 other BH's show up and eventually beat his channel speed

I'm afraid you're not really all that clued in on how channel works.

it's exactly how it works for me, always had it a part of my templete, I know quite well how it works. Timed right, you can go on forever with it.

It does....and we can't....but the time is closer to 3 min I think.

That is incredibly bad advice. Only a noob Jedi waits to channel until she's out of force.

argh, fix this forum!

Won't write all again, just because of the incombatibility to Firefox.

All I wanted to say, the possibility to use channel force during cloak and the possibility to spam endless AI is the most disturbing. Last Night my bounty run over half of Talus to his safehouse, full cloaked and using channel force to keep it up. And this was a fully skilled (225k) who dont have to fear the XPloss! And sadly not the only cowered DJK I met.

Anyone ran up against this nice little power? I've already had two marks use it. The first mark I fought for an hour straight(not exaggerating) and we finally decided to make a truce. The second Jedi would have taken an hour if another BH hadn't shown up at the thirty minute mark and jump into the fold. It seems that they can just continue to regen force which I rely on them to run out of since I'm pistols. It just ends up being hit hit hit heal heal heal hit hit hit heal heal heal and gets no where.

What I'm asking is, anyone ound a good strategy against this? Or maybe I just don't know enough about the power.

When are you BH's going to learn. You are NOT supposed to be able to defeat a jedi 1 vs 1 (unless they are low level paddy). You should be lucky that the devs allow you to have these rediculously high heals without having to get master doc or master CM.
