Thread: If Jedi hunting was taken out of the game would you quit?

When jedi can stay off the terms, I'll agree with you. But flyby speeders and constant shuttle landings make this nearly impossible, and that's not counting the bh who drive around in their free time and follow groups, just to give the jedi vis. (reported several times, no action taken)

Dont Grind out of MO or another populated area. Make sure your group understands visability so they do not leave on you while you are doing your jedi stuff. I know pleanty of jedi who are still grinding and very careful not to get on the terms, and so far it works. Vis can be avoided.

I ask this because thats what Jedi are pushing for now. They just don't want to be hunted at all. I could see this happening. Basically they'll complain and use griefing (which is almost impossible now) as the reason to remove it.
Actually, many many more Jedi have been asking for the removal of Jedi from the GCW as a whole and to give us a meaningful FRS. A Light vs Dark war if you will. That would please the GCW community greatly, I should think.
Personally, The Light/Dark war coupled with BH after us gives everyone the best possible options. Everyone would be able to fight in the GCW without Jedi interference, Jedi would have a purpose, and BH would have the best of both worlds - GCW AND jedi missions...

heck no! All the other 30 plus professions would be useful again and pvp would be fun again.

that would be true if Jedi didn't rule the GCW. One jedi is beatable 3 is not. You really start seeing their power when they team up.

Yeah but I get the money for that equipment by hunting Jedi. No money, no equipment, no hunting.
Unless a really awesome GCW revamp happens that really incorporates PvP like it's supposed to, I would hit the cancel button.

I'm a jedi and tbh the funnest part of this game is not knowing when or if one of you guys is gonna come to try to kill me. I'm not one of the jedi who run around in their robes with LS equiped so most don't know im a jedi till in group and thats another think i like.I would be all for saber/robe tef which imo would make sense. guess thats a lil off subject so sorry. No i wouldn't quit but it would make the game a tad less enjoyable.

Excellent question. I have 2 ways of answering this. My Jedi version of me would be hell no. The Bounty Hunter version of me would say hell no. Reason being? Forced pvp without a mutual reward.If Bounty hunters were no longer pinned up with Jedi the complaints between the two professions would be at an all time low and the constant nerfs we hear people screaming about. Jedi are to powerful yadda yadda. Nobody would care. There is a GCW in this game that you can attempt to join in on. Go overt find someone to kill. Or hope that the GCW actually has a place in the game again. Having these 2 professions against eachother is the primary reason why Jedi and BHare what they are today. Designed around pvp against each other. Balancing professions around PVP before PVE causes imbalance and problems to the point where they can't be fixed. The only reason I can see someone quiting would be they enjoy killing someone that might not want to fight and/or enjoy annoying others by killing them when they trying to enjoy the game a different way. Heres my question. Would you quit if you could no longer force others to pvp?
