Sorry for saying this, but i think a profession that takes 10 times longer to get deserves to be just a bit stronger. **Grabs a fire extinguisher**
I didnt read the hold thread, just this and i want to say its not bounty hunters trying to get jedi nerfed, its you whineing jedi doing it all to yourself
Ive never asked for any nerfs, they mess with lightsabers i deal with it, they nerf, nerf, ,nerf i deal with it, but i cant stand someone calling jedi's dumb because they run, i dont think trying to protect 400k xp is dumb. I dont even care if a bh runs, maybe he doesnt want wounds, maybe he doesnt want his weapons to decay from the incap, ok reasons none that i call dumb. Im also tired of old pre cu jedi saying "dont give premium crystals back" and "nerf xp again", not because there are too many jedi, because they are afraid that some day one of these new padawans will walk up and take away their place in the frs, personally if i had a 600 dps saber, which i dont, i would want the fairest fight possible because i would like to know that i beat that guy fairly. There is nothing wrong with a little whining

he didn't school me. he got a lucky break when he otherwise couldn't kill me. i had him running with no force over 10 different times within an hr. he wasn't even fighting me, when i got incapped, he was running, saw me incap (55 sec incap, dunno how it was so long when half the time i incap someone and they get up before a 6 sec db timer can finish) he came back and insta db'ed me when the NS attacked him.
also doesn't help when specials lock out and stop being able to be used. which i just found out you have to reload them into the toolbar to get them working again, sometimes. sometimes, they still won't work. *shrug* another SOE bug.
besides boewewov, he was full template, completely done the grind. what's he got to lose by sticking around? nothing.
i don't run on my jedi, and i've only been killed by 1 bh postcu, the rest i've killed. it's a cowardly thing to do, especially if you're done the grind and don't care about xp loss.

There are several answers to this question -- the shortest being -- because there's a need for them.
You could stop right there, but...inquiring minds need to know. And that's a good thing because it tells me you've got something that all good bounty hunters gotta have -- you're not satisfied with the first thing somebody tells you. You're a digger.
There's a need for bounty hunters because the police don't have time to follow up on warrants.
How come all these warrants are piling up and the police don't have time? Is it because they're all down at the donut shop? Sure, that might account for some of it, but if you turn the question around and look at it from another angle (a good thing for a bounty hunter to be able to do) you realize it's because "wanted" people run.
Why do they run? Well, put yourself in their position -- which is a great idea -- because if you want to catch somebody, you've got to know how to hide.
There's lots of reasons. "Wanted" people run because they don't want to go to jail. Because they're afraid. Because they're career criminals. Because they're trying to hide from other charges. And, because they think they can get away with it."
It's funny. Even in RL the marks or "skips" do not sit still. Why would you expect it to be the same here? The Empire has marked all Jedi as criminals and enemies. You've taken a mission to hunt down and kill a mark. If the mark evades you, he hasn't won. Just lived another day until he is hunted again.
I am the mayor of a town and the leader of my guild, and i have seen many people come and go, i did almost all professions on my 3 toons, it never been the strenght of the jedi that was the prob, but the way people use it.
But the game is really at the point, where everything gets nerfed to death or being made so easy just cause some silly kids cant be bothered to actually learn and play swg.
Atm you master any prof within 2 days. Having a lot noobs not even knowing about their skills, but oh well they hunt jedi lol.
and all this cry about too many jedi or not, there arent too many jedis, but there are too less normal profs. Imagine 1000 noobs hit each server, and increase the amount of normal profs....
95% or lil more that played before pub10 have a jedi now, cause simply when pub10 came live, it was like not having ROTW, if you were not glowy, ffs it was new content.
And now some guys that havent even earened their 3 months reward, think they have the right to cry about it.

You choose to run becuase you totally suck and cannot defeat bounty hunters. People who run give the jedi a bad name. You didnt see Qui Gon "Force Run" when he saw darth maul, screaming im not fighting you it doesnt benefit me.
Jedi who run spoil the content for bounty hunters and should not be jedi if they dont like pvp, they should be tailors and armorsmiths or weaponsmiths. A true jedi is a warror/fighter , and will fight to his / her death, not run and hide like a baby girl.
