yeah, i was kinda not specific. i find any FULLY TEMPLATED COMBAT PROFESSION that runs from fights pathetic, unless possibly gankings, but they'll most likely end up dying while running anyways.
a 1 on 1 fight though.... just SAD.

lol no prob, i was kinda mad still, from that jedi force running like a lil pansy for over an hr, then getting lucky from an npc incap. after 3/4 of my specials stopped working

some days i hate this game so much... with it's sucky newer combat and it's multitude of bugs, moreso than ever precu.....

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I no longer run from fights with BH. Of course, I have not been bested by a BH in a while, unless I was fighting multiple critters and did not notice the attacks from the BH.

I remember back in a the day, pre-cu when i 1st started, around publish 9 and 10, that there wast this Dark Jedi Master who was hunted by 16 bounty hunters and the fight went on for a while running all over the planet, but he killed 10 of the BHs before finally dieing.
I thought that was bad ass, and the way it should be

the FRS was bugged till much after that, he couldn't have been a jedi master player.

what i hate is the jedi that come out call u out want to fight, unrtill ther losing then they run there asses off, or the sop called best jedi that run as soon as they start losing, that pisses me off

Well... this is an age old topic....
I have just started hunting jedi....
I have hunted 8...
I have not won any but only lost once... and it was a good fight and the jedi said if I could have lasted a bit more I would have beaten him...
He chose not to DB or triple incap me and I thought that was pretty honorable...
The other 7 they ran... and then cloaked... or jumped into a house and logged...
It seems that I will get 1 maybe two shots on these 'runners' and then they will realize that I can hit hard so they run...
I dont necessarily have a problem with it... it is annoying... and I think takes away from the game.
Maybe the developers can find a way to make both sides 'lose' something in a loss... and some if they run...
Kinda like when you play black jack with surrender... You can surrender your hand and only lose half of your bet if you think your hand 'stinks'
But I do agree that both sides needs to 'lose' something if this run away defense is ever going to stop...

Jedi has been nerfed not just because of BH.
If anything, the very Correspondent on this Forum was asking for Jedi Power to remain at the top of the food chain. Of course this was due to wanting to keep the ability for BH's to group to kill Jedi but still I think there were more Jedi screaming to nerf other Jedi than BH's asking to nerf Jedi (at least recently). So who is really responsible for the demise of the Jedi profession, the people who screamed they wanted the profession to be easy to unlock, easy to grind, and wanted less penalties.
Jedi as it stands today CAN NOT BE POWERFUL. There is a thread on how to make 500-800k xp an HOUR. I repeat per HOUR. WTH is that, you call that balance? Finish a full template in about 30-40hrs of grinding? That's got to be 1-2 weeks of grinding for a lot of crazed people. Maybe 1 month for the really slow people. I can already see what the CURB has done, there are Jedi everywhere. Sorry the power had to be balanced.
Now I do agree it's unfair to the older Jedi who worked within the rules of the old/harder system, maybe when the FRS comes out those with Knight Titles will see some form of compensation. What I do know is FRS should be the only way to lift a Jedi above "normal" power. Yes there are things broken but even with them fixed Jedi would still be balanced and Jedi can only really point the fingers at themselves. If we had more penalties, harder unlocking method, longer grind....yep we actually would have a leg to stand on when asking for more power.

You choose to run becuase you totally suck and cannot defeat bounty hunters. People who run give the jedi a bad name. You didnt see Qui Gon "Force Run" when he saw darth maul, screaming im not fighting you it doesnt benefit me.
Jedi who run spoil the content for bounty hunters and should not be jedi if they dont like pvp, they should be tailors and armorsmiths or weaponsmiths. A true jedi is a warror/fighter , and will fight to his / her death, not run and hide like a baby girl.
LOL have you ever seen episode 1? What did Qui Gon and Obi Wan do when the droideka attacked them when they attempted to access the ships bridge. (answer they used "Force Run") HAHAHA Silly BH. I was a decent BH, now I am an UBER weak jedi. Until I have built my temp, I will run from BH's. You didn't start taking Jedi PVP missions before you had a finished template did you? What would make you think we would want to fight you with Novice LS, Novice Def? We recognize a fight we cannot win/ have no reason to engage in and choose not to participate. Why is that such a difficult concept to grasp. Before you use the films as cannon to back up your argument, be sure you are right next time. Silly silly bh ROFLMAO.

Why is it that BHs just asume that any Jedi that's runs sucks at PvP, AFK'd they're way on the trail or E-bay'd their Jedi? What if they run because they're not far enough along in our hands ongrind to stand and face aplayer that could killfull template Knights back when being one meant something? I had 2 BHs pair off against me the other night and call me everything but worm dirt for dragging them 12 kicks across Dath. Call me chicken, but with 0221 Sabers it takes a while tokill onefamba, Idon't think I've got much chanceagainst a BH/CMand a BH/MCarb.
During the time I was a Rifle hybrid, my PvP rating when from the mid 1100s to 1574, and the only PvP I did was against the BHs who came after me. Up till then, I'd never PvP'd. Now that I've got a broken sabers template, does running mean that suddenly I don't know how to PvP? Does it mean that I suck at playing Jedi? I think it means I'm not willing to loose anotherdays grindfighting a fight I know I can't win.
Don't give us that 'If you can't fight, stay of the terms' crap either. When players go out of their way to buzz drind groups giggeling about the vis they just gave you, when NPCs spawn in the middle of your mission, when the BHs who hunt you just insure that you stay on the terminals, when it's suspected that your own bike gives you vis... Staying off the terms is almost impossible. Up till this last BH attack, I'd been real careful about my vis for almost a month. No grinding where random passers-by might see me. No auras, heals or force run in public, not even holding my saber or wearing my robes where someone un-grouped might see it. I'd even managed to avoid the NPC spawns. 3-1/2 weeks later... 2 come for me at the same time. After the display I put on for them, I'm sure to have maxxed my vis again.
I'm not whining about the vis or the BHs, that's all part and parcel to the whole Jedi gig. Just stop with the crap about us automaticly sucking because we run, and give the stay off the terms thing a rest. Being a Lv80 Jedi doesn't mean that were even close to full template let alone ready to face you, an 89k Jedi with no other skills can be Lv80; andbeing on the mission termsdoesn't mean we were out at MO or showing off our 1337 glow bat and mad skillz, it just means **edit** happened, like it tends to do.
