I dont mind doing a quest for it or a village type deal I just have a problem with the people who think that there should only be 1 set per 3 servers. Thats all.
But this kill 1000 jedis for 1 piece? Gimme a break! Thats about as lame as it gets.
Well I am not sat 1k a piece...1k a suit.
Ilike the things you are saying for the most part but I want Mandalorian armor TO BE AS IT SHOULD BE...A BADGE OF HONOR.

See if I wanted to be a jedi i would have been one long ago, but what I dont like is that anyone who wants to be a Obi-Wan clone or a Maul clone we have way too many of those on Sunrunner or any other Jedi for that matter can. But if I wanted to be say..........Han Solo I could not, I can be a smuggler but they are so ruined that they resemble nothing of a smuggler, or if I wanted to be a "Fett" I cant realistically.
Anyway my point is that Jedi get everything they want on a silver platter, every patch has a huge chunk devoted to the Jedi, now they get thier own expansion, It can be argued that Kashyyyk was an expansion for the Jedi also, but that is for another day. I just want to have some things that I would enjoy having with the same ease that Jedi have things given them. No harder to obtaine and no easier.

I have much respect for the role players. I see your point friend. I hope they come up with a system that everyone can like. I have no problem with that. Everyone wants a set and I know why.
Maybe the devs will listen...I that you should design a system and submit it...Just make it a real challenge. GOOD POST.

But wasn't Jedi supposed to be an ICON?
Anywho those who actually have the armor never wear it. They never wear it because its so hard to get and that if they did wear it in combat there is no way to realistically keep it any longer than any other set of armor unless you get9 adks.
And 1k Jedi kills for a set of armor is just ridiculous. Why should an item be harder to obtain than a player class?
Killing Jedi takes time, many MBH like using the entire 3 days to hunt Jedi and catch them off guard. Hunting Jedi isn't something that can really be rushed you have to take your time and make sure you do it right or you lose.
So lets say I kill one Jedi a Day and it takes 1k Jedi Kills to get a full set.
Your telling me it should take me almost 3 years to get a suit of armor that will decay just like anyother suit of armor while it takes only 4 months to unlock a player class that was supposed to be just as rare.
But I do agree that Mando shouldn't me be made common but that doesn't mean its should be harder to obtain than Jedi Knight, because at the end of the day it's just an Item with the only real difference between it and other suits of armorbeing the way it looks.

All right here is my perspective on the Mando quest. I really like the idea of having one, started by Boba or someone else deosnt really matter too much to me.
Now here is where I dont like it. I wanted to be a BH since I first read about this game on station.com. When I started I mastered both Marksman and Scout. Then I went on to master BH. A short time later thew dropped the MScout requierment so I mastered Pistoleer. Once the CU came out I respeced to MCarbineer and then picked up a tree of CM. So I have been a BH since I started the game and will enda BH, I dont even consider myself a carbineer as it was just a skill I picked up to help my BH temp.
O.K. on to the meat of my point. there are more things in the SW universe than Jedi 
There are even more things to SW than BH. I dont want us to get a quest system in place and have our proffesion dialed in while my friend who feels the same way I do only with smugglers, or my other buddy who likes the Ranger prof. And until the other proffesions are brought up to speed, like smuggler, Ranger, CH, entertainer, commando, and a whole list of others it would not be right for us to cry for more things like a "village" or something along those lines until the other profs are fixed.
I feel like this game is at its best when every person behind the thier toon can feel satisfied they they filled thier nitch, they did the thing that makes thier prof unique. And quite frankly it does not exist right now. The Jedi can heal better than the healers they can dance better than the dancers that is until they got rid of BF instead of just fixing it so jedi could not heal it. I even read on Jedi crying on the Jedi forum that he could not track as good as a ranger so they should give Jedi that ability. The whole thing is to let peolpe play what they want and feel good about it, not feel like if they want to play in SWG they have to become one particular class. Therfore I want to see SOE fix all the other classes to better the enjoyment of many other players before they issue a whole new chapter for us BH'rs. Although space bounties would be way cool.
That is why I dont really want it. So the next best thing is to make it just a tad bit easier to get. You know not so rare that when someone comes into the BH forum and says he saw bigfoot people in here say Wow that must have been neat, but the next guy says he saw a suit of Mando and everyone is calling them a liar, and where is your screenie? and after the screenie it's you doctored that with photoshop. You get my drift?
Any ways, that is my 2 cents. I hope something gets resolved though.

Now that we have jedis in every streetcorner flashing thier LS, so why not throw in the mandalorain armor for BHs?
That could make jedis go green of envy and make them leave jedi profession and go BH or the armor instead. Better off with manda armor as common as comp armor was pre-CU, than having these jedis in every streetcorner.
Or you could make the jedi unlock quest as hard as it is to get one full mandalorain armor. 
Because Mandalorian Armor is special...Jedi are not.

REDLION78: ohhh, that wasnt a good argument...you have to try better. Jedi is special if somthing. Mandalorain armor is just armor graphics...nothing else, no special abilities, nothing, its just graphics.
