The last BH that came for me had no problem hitting me through the cloak.Poison, fire, did the electrolyte drain so I could barely move. Not sure if DOT's incap as Fire and poison used to be able to pre-cu.Not sure if it was intended that way but sure was a surprise on my part.
you are able to heal while cloaked. If you already have cloak you should have 4000 heal also. Just heal until the DoTs wear off.
yeah that is pretty much what i did.Sure freaked me out though
Dots dont incap.
What about fire? Fire used to incap, not certain about it now.

I turned on the simple shadows on the control panel. When they are cloaked their shadow shows up on the terrain.
This will eventually be fixed, but it works right now.

I doubt seriously that it's considered an exploit to use th simple shadows. This is a programming glitch that doesn't really help you out other than being able to know if the cloaked Jedi is standing right next to you. It doesn't allow you to grief anyone or otherwise gain an unfair advantage. At times though it can backfire on you, for instance if you have it on in a city, you'll be seeing shadows from everyone, and may cause lag.
Until I see a dev say "Using simple shadows is an exploit", I'm going to use it.
Yeah, me too. I'd like some sort of official word one way or the other.
I actually asked in the 'customer service' boards about this issue, but no-one has replied (I guess they are a little busy over there at the moment
..)

If that happens the next time, report him for exploiting. He is using a detour around not being able to target you, purposely going around a system in place to protect you. CM attacks are single-target, and all single-target attacks cannot be done if you dont have a target. You can be hit by area attacks while cloaked, but if you are hit by single-target attacks your opponent is exploiting.

A double Master Jedi with 2 lines from another Jedi profession is only 226K. You are forgetting the 24 skill points that FS skills eat up. What you fought was a full template dabbler (one mastery + dabbling in other Jedi professions).
The Jedi either had 0 or 2 masteries or the payout wouldnt have been an even number
Bomb droids wont' pull us out of cloak. They can hurt us, but taking damage does not break cloak. We can heal while cloaked.
If your able to use an area special that knocks us down, we can heal while cloaked and knocked down. Using KDR breaks cloak, however if we wait long enough we can just use stand. I havn't had a BH try using the /duel with a friend to hit me for over a week, however npc's using area shots on others are still hitting me, and when I'm using channel to stay cloaked, it's not uncommon for me to have under 1k max health from my channeling.
Channel: every cloaker should have this, and will pretty much nullify any of your draining efforts unless you bring _a lot_ of people, note tho everytime we channel it takes about 300 from our max health, takes about a minute for the health to regin. However, goes on to the next point..
the TEF. It's only what, 2.5 minutes.. Once we cloak combat is stopped, you and your crowd can be trying to drain my force against my channels and holocrons, but if you go that route the second the tef ends I'm walkin in my house.
So the type of cloaker you have should determine your tactics, with a smart one your best bet is to not let him cloak at all, because once he does your not gonna get him. Others who arn't paying attention, bomb droids and area shots might catch 'em off guard. Or if you find one that doesn't know KDR breaks cloak...

What I meant was220 minus the 6 for the uncomplete template and the 28 SP for cloak (I'm including nov powers because he didn't use lightning, KD, weaken, or intim, so I'm assuming his template didn't have any other powers).
Well actually that comes to 34 SP not dedicated to heals, offense, enhancement, or defense... so thanks for pointing that out, Tanks.
