OK, I am not coming here to whine or anything first off, I just wanna know where everyone decides to draw the line. Do you kill a LD Jedi or not? Tonight I was out killing aakuans, whena blue dot comes along and opens fire. He roots me, then tries to kite me, so when the root where off I turned the other way and blasted his BARC into oblivion, and activated Improved FR to escape. I am all out of force, so its run or die. I get a few tells about the BARC (nuthing bad) and I get a few tells about runnin away (what, knights can't run either? ). I told the BH I had low force and a really unstable connection, and I had LD'd a ton earlier that night. I play on 56k so I LD frequently, but lo and behold I LD right after that last tell and my toon is sitting in the world helpless because of my comp problems. Needless to say, I came back in in the cloner.

But where do you guys draw the line? Do you kill an LD jedi, even if it's a computer problem?

I hunted a guy while his friend circled us with his vehicle waiting to pick him up if things started to go downhill and after a 7 minute fight sure it happened.

I can't mount my swoop even if it's already out(anyone else experienced this?) So I run back to outpost(Endor) 1000m away while sending out more seekers in the hope that he'll go to the other outpost. To my amazement he's only about 1.5 clicks out and suddenly I can use my swoop again.

I go for it and find him kneeling and LD in the forest. His friend is nowhere to bee seen so I kill him.

To me it was a deliberate attempt to escape and not a computer crash and thus he was fair game.

The problem is(and I'll get flamed for this) that so many Jedi will resort to any tactics including cheating in order to avoid XP loss that when they LD my mind automatically screams CHEAT! KILL HIM! Same thing whenever I encounter any kind of odd behaviour that doesn't make sense. I always think HE'S TRYING TO USE A DESIGN FLAW IN THE PROGRAM!

Sad? Maybe but if you got a lot of bad experiences you start thinking this way. Credits to Jedi who play fair. As long as you don't exploit bugs you're welcome to use any tactic to stay alive.

"There was lots of reading, much too much, in the game. There was a lot of wandering around learning about different abilities. We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."

With all the nerfs comming our way? Kill 'em no matter what. No more free passes for crafter paddies that only have cl 47. Once I have your mission and I determine you're not reb, I'm going for it. LD, AFK, distracted, or just plain bad. Kill 'em while we can.

I might for a 200k-220k, but not a knight.

especialy not a knight that broke my speeder and then ran away, thats just asking to get DBed.

ok so it seems that most ppl would take the opportunity if it came. Thanks for teh input

BTW I would have gladly put up a fight, the BH didn't even hit me for more than 400 dmg before I ran, but I had absolutely no force,, couldn't even activate force run at first, and when he did a stopping shot and started to kite, I found my chance, because he was leaving his speeder the opposite way. If someone rolls up to me and leaves a speeder out, and I have no force, I am ALWAYS ganna blow it up so I can escape. Wouldn't you?
